Absolute worst tires I’ve ever used. They dry rot in a climate controlled room. They never seat right. And are almost impossible to use with tire inserts.

Love this tire! Tons of grip and the sidewalls have been holding up to my local SoCal chunky rock trails! Plus, who doesn’t want some of their money to go towards trail builders! Soil Searching is such a great program to support! Make all tires part of the soil searching program!

The tread,grip and sidewall protection is great on these tires

Great tyre can't fault it yet. Cautious to recommend the soil searching though. Side lugs fell off my butcher on soil searching. Seems they don't bind well to the tanwall. Heard of others having the same issue too.

I used this as a rear tire with cushcore and it got flat by riding over some roots. The grip is good, but not being able to withstand a hit with tire insert, I question the protection of the sidewalls.

This is an amazing rear tire. I run the 2.3 (which measures slightly larger than advertised). It is very fast rolling, has good grip, climbs well, and great braking traction. The puncture protection has been very nice as well. I would certainly buy this tire again.

No puedo opinar muy bien porque me equivoqué yo al comprar, no son tubeless . Les he puesto cámara (después d 5 años sin usar) y las he probado en barro y seco y van muy bien. Como producto un 10 pero leer bien antes d comprar cubiertas

Ein Top-Reifen. Mein Exemplar ist mit 1040 Gramm in 29“, Trail-Karkasse und 2,3“ Breite leider ein ganzes Stück schwerer, als angegeben. Beim Butcher verhält es sich genauso.

Mit der neuen Karkasse bzw. Karkassen sind die Reifen geschmeidig,Durchschlag und Durchstich auf einen Niveau mit den bekannten Marken. Dafür aber deutlich leichter! Grip,Traktion unter allen Bedingungen geht absolut i.O. Fahrverhalten ist sehr spielerisch . Leicht zu lenken sauberer Übergang in Schräglage. Zum Trailbike passen die Gridtrail T9 vorne und T7 hinten perfekt. Lassen sich zumindest auf Minimal E Bike noch anständig beschleunigen und auch über 25 km/h treten. Man hat nicht so sehr das Gefühl von einem Monster gehalten zu werden. Die Mischung aus Fahrsicherheit und Agilität ist super gelungen. Wenn ich nur CC fahre ist der T9 falsch. Wenn ich nur Enduro ballere muss die dickste Karkasse her. Aber zum Allmountain oder Trail- Touren fahren super. Aber wie es immer so ist. Spielen Fahrstil, geographische Lage, und der richtige Luftdruck eine große Rolle bei der Bewertung. Mir machen die Specialized Reifen einfach Spaß!

El neumático es un poco mas pesado, pero tiene un muy buen agarre, sobre todo en terreno árido

pensé que sería demasiado pesada cada llanta, sin embargo no es un peso exagerado, las ocupe en lodo y en subidas y muy bien , aun no lo uso sobre lo plano para ver si hay un cambio significativo con respecto a tallas más esbeltas.

Agarran incluso en mojado y con barro, merece la pena el coste, no sé aun la durabilidad.

Tread is aggressive enough for enduro riding, handles very well in corners. Braking traction doesn't quite rival a DHR but it's more than enough for me. Casing is a little on the lighter side, though it climbs very well due to it. My previous set of these got a tear which separated the sidewall from the bead in a section after taking a berm a little sharper than I should have. Other than that the tread wear was looking good. For the price this is a great tire.

Mon pneu de choix pour Turbo Levo. Gros volume (2,60) pouvant se rouler à basse pression pour un max de grip et de confort. Profile plus "carré" que le Butcher le rendant plus vif sur l'angle. Flancs beige au style sans égal n'offrant pas autant de rigidité que les carcasses Gravity que je préfère sur mon Enduro.

Sidewalls may bleed a bit if they are tubeless BUT These tires absolutely shred!

These have been my go to tires. I purchased another set for my wife's new MTB that I just built for her. For our terrain in Northern Colorado which is high desert loam to rocky packed dirt; these are awesome. And, they look sharp too. Now what about a 29x 2.8 Specialized?

Great tire and does well on the trails!

Really love the compound. Slightly easier to stall than DHF. The tan wall is different color than other specialized tan walls but just add a lil dirt and there ya go problem solved! Waiting to see longevity but it’s great to have a good performing alternate. The corner knobs engage earlier than the DHF and I dig that here where it’s kitty litter or dust often. Nice to not have to fully commit to the grip or slip.

If you are looking for a tire that sits somewhere between cross country speed and downhill toughness, the T7 Eliminator is a good choice. The sidewalls are still supple but won’t tear on the first rock they find. To get enough cornering support I do have to run higher pressures than the Butcher.

I bought these tires for the tan sidewalls, but when I rode my local trail with these they were very responsive and I could turn quicker than my old butcher grids

I'm a big fan of the Eliminator tire as an all-around great rear tire. Been running these on my Stumpy Evo (Golden Age!) and the 2.3 width is perfect with the Royal Traverse SL rims. The T7 compound is really great and significantly better than previous gen Specialized trail tires. And now in Tan…!!! < Add to cart>

Replaced my 2.6 with the 2.3 and what a difference in hitting turns. Very responsive with no tire rolling or rebound. Holds the turn well a held its line even on loose gravel. Had a difficult time installing and punctured a tube by pinching it, but that has nothing to do with the performance of the tire.
