    And, while it’ll never turn down a number plate, Epic EVO is well-acquainted with the fact that the next ridgeline makes a perfectly good finish line too, offering an incredible combination of pedaling efficiency and impressive trail-taming capability to get you there faster.

    While the Epic EVO sees a seemingly modest 20-millimeter increase in suspension travel up front over its Epic stablemate and just 10-millimeters out back, we’ve worked overtime to make sure it’s been implemented in a way that’ll have you saying ‘Whoa!’ as soon as you hit your first stretch of singletrack.

    Meticulously engineered to retain as much of the Epic’s standard-setting efficiency as possible, the EVO’s new suspension kinematics work in concert with our Rx XC shock tune to ensure you're able to make the absolute most out of every inch of travel on tap, while still offering increased anti-squat characteristics for improved pedaling efficiency.

    With plenty of practice at staying ahead of the curve, the Epic EVO now lays claim to the most capable iteration of our Progressive XC Geometry ever to grace an Epic. It’s also more versatile than ever thanks to a new flip chip-equipped rear end that allows riders to adjust headtube angle and bottom bracket height to easily customize the Epic EVO’s handling characteristics.

    Epic EVO’s flyweight FACT 11m carbon frame features heavy-hitting SRAM components and RockShox suspension for a package tailor-made for making miles disappear faster than ever.

    • Flip It To Rip It: Tune the ride of the Epic EVO’s FACT 11m carbon frame to match your preferred handling characteristics with flip-chip simplicity that allows riders to reduce the EVO’s headtube angle by half a degree while lowering bottom bracket height by 10 millimeters.

    • The Reba RL doles out travel with a steady hand courtesy of RockShox's Motion Control damper, while SoloAir adjustability makes dialing in suspension performance a breeze.

    • SRAM’s NX Eagle drivetrain is the benchmark for affordable high performance, delivering crisp shifting and a massive 450% gear range.

    La bici de XC perfecta. Rápida, divertida bajando. No busques más

    Desde el primeros km notas que es una bici muy capaz. Tiene una eficacia de pedaleo como una xc pura y con una postura mas cómoda. sube prácticamente igual que una xc radical. Y bajando es donde mas te va a sorprender, vengo de una specialized enduro y no hay tanta diferencia, es mas la ligereza y aplomo que tiene no deja de sorprender y con menos peso!. Para mi es la bici perfecta para la montaña ya que combina el subir y bajar muy bien y disfrutando mucho pero que mucho de la bici.

    La bici perfecta de xc disfrutaras mucho mas

    Desde los primeros km que coges la bicicleta se siente muy capaz, rápida, eficaz en el pedaleo. Tiene buena velocidad de llaneo y se defiende muy bien subiendo. No hay casi diferencia con una xc de menos recorrido. Y bajando, la sonrisa que te pondrá... Sólo puedo decir que es como llevar una enduro mas ligera. Es mas rápida en los cambios de dirección, serpentea muy bien. Para mi es la bici perfecta para la montaña. Abarca un abanico de posibilidades muy amplio.

    Excellent bike. did 100 miles on this bike

    Excellent bike. I am dialed in on the bike. did 100 miles race to the sun. I could have gone further than the finish line. light weight and fast. I can only criticize the small chain ring 32T is too small at some areas I was just spinning without acceleration; however chain ring can easily be upgraded. The wheelbase is excellent it easily rolls over obstacles.

    Rides like magic but heavier than expected & NX sucks

    Riding as first full suspension bike, has enabled riding things I wouldn't have contemplated tackling before. Barely use the rear lockout while climbing, and front/rear balance is A+ once shocks properly tuned. Cross shopped w. Canyon Lux, SC Blur, Orbea Oiz, and am very satisfied with this frameset for this price. One down side is total weight, at 12.2kg (L). Tires 880g ea., with 200g tubes, 340g bar. Swapouts saved 800g for ~$150, & could prob' go much lighter w. cassette & ditching drop-post (find I use it less than on my hardtail). Gradually getting used to SRAM Eagle NX clunky shifting after lifetime of Shimano XT, so will likely swap at some point. Overall very pleased w. frame & handling. Just wish they would've put some lighter parts on it from the get-go. But, at least I can replace components as they wear out (or as I can afford!)

    Esperienza straordinaria

    Utilizzo la Epic Evo soprattutto in Appennino Reggiano, dal 2021, Anche nella prima collina l'equilibrio e la flessibilità d'uso di questa bici velocissima da crossmountain è straordinaria: puoi salire con efficienza e leggerezza per i single trek più impegnativi e pendenti poi quando arrivi in cima abbassi la sella telescopica e la Epic Evo diventa un razzo con limiti davvero altissimi e sempre molto sicuro. Sul Crinale Appenninico ho percorso tratti molto impegnativi della Via Matildica del Volto Santo e del sentiero 00, superando anche i 2.000 metri di quota, senza paura e con un mezzo leggero e facile da portare, anche per lunghi tratti. Su asfalto è scorrevole ed efficiente. Grazie al telaio completamente in carbonio ed alle sospensioni molto efficaci è un mezzo confortevole che permette lunghe maratone di fuori strada anche di 80 km, in una sola giornata.
