The Crux is the lightest gravel bike in the world, with the exceptional capability of massive tire clearance and performance gravel geometry. It’s not just the ultimate expression of gravel performance, it’s your one-way ticket to gravel enlightenment.

  • Lightest: 725g S-Works 12r and 825g 10r frames. We took the revolutionary breakthroughs that made Aethos the lightest bike ever and applied them to the Crux. The result? A gravel bike that climbs like a dream, floats over nightmarish terrain, and weighs less than a full bottle in your cage.
  • Capable: 47c/650b x 2.1” tire clearance. More clearance means more capability. With Diverge-level tire clearance, Crux takes you anywhere you can imagine, at full gas.
  • Responsive: Nimble, supple, and reactive. Responsive at the pedals. Supple in the saddle. With performance gravel geometry and race-influenced fit inspired by Crux's iconic history in ‘cross.

When you just can't find the gravel bike you want...

Decided to work with my local Specialized shop (Bikesource in Littleton CO) to build out the frameset into my dream bike. I wanted a super light gravel bike with a simple build and maximum reliability for remote gravel roads. Opted to build out this S-Works Crux frameset with a Shimano GRX RX820 1x12 groupset (40T chainring with 10-45 cassette), Roval Terra CLX II wheelset, other bits mostly as per spec. Couldn't be happier with the result, a shade over 16 lbs before peripherals. Given it a hard first week and it's perfect for the style of gravel I enjoy.

SWORKS CRUX

I bought this frame a month ago and the bike shop build the rest the of the bike. They took a little while to build it up for me ( 3 weeks ). You might say they took a long time, and they probably did. However, the wait was worth the wait. I have a light, super fast and comfortable gravel bike as we speak. I am an amateur rider, but once I rode the sworks crux, I started to feel immediately like a pro. Thanks Specialized .

Quiver Killer

Could not be happier with this frame and what it's allowed me do with a single bike. With the below setup I've got a stellar ultralight gravel bike (7.1kg), and road race / mountain climbing machine (6.7kg): - 46/33 x 10/36 SRAM Red eTap AXS HRD groupset - One-piece Roval Alpinist SL cockpit - S-Works Power with Mirror saddle - Roval Terra CLX wheels with 42mm Pathfinders Pros (Gravel Mode) - Bontrager Aeolus RSL 37s with 30mm Schwalbe ProONE (Road Mode) The 2x setup has allowed me to join the fast group road rides without sacrificing gearing for all steep gravel climbs here. One point of caution is the paint on this frame. It is very very thin and prone to damage. Make sure to put tape anywhere you think something might rub especially near the cables. Overall, I'm really happy with the bike and would recommend it.
