The new Power Arc Pro Elaston expands on the success of our original Power saddle. It features the same channel and length as the original, but where it differs is in its titanium rails versus the carbon fiber found on the S-Works. But this means that it still features a stiff, FACT carbon fiber shell and lightweight EVA padding. If you're already a Power loyalist, this iteration features a curved Body Geometry shape that better contours to your body. What does this mean for your ride? It means that you'll feel as if you're “in the saddle" and not on it. And ultimately, this equates to greater comfort and superior performance in all seated positions.

We've also replaced the traditional PU padding with an Elaston foam construction that's made up of small beads that are expanded into the foam. And now, with an all new cover material that further enhances Elaston's performance due to its omnidirectional stretch properties. The result? The feeling of sitting on 1,000 miniature pillows rather than one piece of foam.

  • Patented Body Geometry design is lab-tested for both men and women to ensure blood flow to sensitive arteries.
  • Level 2 Elaston foam provides unrivaled comfort and support on longer rides.
  • Stiff FACT carbon fiber shell is tuned for support and ride compliance.
  • Lightweight and durable hollow titanium rails.
  • SWAT™-compatible mounts molded into the saddle base allow for sleek and integrated storage solutions.
  • Size 143mm / Weight: 225g
  • Size 155mm / Weight: 228g

Solved many of my issues

I've been struggling with pudendal neuralgia for years, and I got the the power comp with mimic which definitely helped. It was still a bit hard though, and the flatness of the surface felt like it put pressure on the area inside my sits bones that was causing the pain and itching. The power arc with elaston solves both of those issues, and feels supportive yet squishy in all of the right places. The added padding alone the sides of the nose and middle is especially helpful. My symptoms have been much better since I began riding with it. The curved nature of the back fits into my pelvis better, and feels like it's a part of me rather than something I'm perched on top of. My bike fit guy told me that this is what he rides, and I see why! If you are a fan of the power platform but want a better version of the saddle, this is it!

Power Arc Pro Elaston

This is my first new saddle in many, many years. Like everything else these days, it's amazing how the technology has changed. Everything from the shape to the cutout to the Elaston padding make for a saddle that is immediately comfortable. I'm sure it will become even more so as I rack up the miles. Thanks for a great product, Specialized!

Not the same channel

The channel is NOT the same width as the original. In fact, the channel on the Arc Elaston Pro 143 and 155 is significantly narrower than on the Power Pro's. Also, the padding on the front of the Power Pro Elaston seems much softer than on the Arc Elaston models. "our original Power saddle. It features the same channel and length as the original"

Different from Power Pro models

This page claims that this Arc saddle has the "same channel as the original" (Power Pro), however, this is not the case. 1. Most importantly, the Arc has a significantly narrower channel, almost 10 mm narrower. 2. Also, the front part of the Arc Pro Elaston is firmer than the Power Pro Elaston. 3. In addition, I can confirm the Power Pro 155 has a wider channel than the Power Pro Elaston 143. 4. Lastly, the Arc Pro Elaston143 has a channel that is, I am told, the same width as the Arc Pro Elaston 155. 5. The channels on the Power Pro and Arc Pro saddles have different widths. So, in case an exchange is needed, keep all the packaging and test the saddle immediately after purchasing it.
