Perfect for MTB shoes Check sizing go down a size on Road shoes

So these arrived and I put them on my road shoes and they are a bit big having said that Im a size 41 shoe and it does say to go for the M/L sizing so I found out these are slightly big and a bit sloppy, BUT are PERFECT on my MTB shoes and super easy to get on and off thanks to the Velcro closure underneath and NO pesky zips! If you love the wet muddy terrain on gravel or MTB and want dry feet then these are amazing.

oversized

I wear a 44. Size guide suggests XL/XXL. I purchased M/L and XL/XXL to be safe. I ended up returning the XL/XXL as they were considerably bigger and oversized. Definitely not for a size 44 shoe. Besides that, the quality and design are awesome! :)

Comfortable

These are great but if your bibs get wet around the shin area, they’ll let water through inside. Better to wear bibs that don’t go under the shoe covers or pull the bibs over the shoe cover.

Size XL/XXL work well over both my size 47 & 50 Bont shoes.

Great fit but so tight over both size shoes (50s are for using USB heaters & extra socks on proper Tassie winter days), I put these on first before my shoes, then adjust down. I'm not going to try getting these over my shoes, ever. These run around 18cm above my ankle bones. As yet untested in proper wet or winter conditions.

Sweaty

Kinda easy to get on. Kinda hard to get off. First ride today and discovered that they were totally drenched on the inside from sweat. They definitively don’t breathe. Definitely kept my feet warm though. Temperature was about 40° so they will probably keep my feet warm in much colder temperatures.

Best Shoe Covers

I have tried so many different shoe covers each year. I commute about 30 miles a day by bike and ride on the weekends as well. I go through about three pairs every year cause they either are lacking in some area and I cannot bother to wear them again, or they are so poor in quality I just toss them. I purchased these just before the weather turned this year in Chicago. They have been a life-saver. Heavy rain, sleet, and some snow and these performed amazing! Combo with some deep winter socks and they will keep you warm for those long winter sessions. I have also tried them with summer socks on days in mid-high 30s (farenheit) and are still warm, but not so much that you find yourself sweating 10 minutes into your ride. Must have and I am definitely picking up the tall version for January/February.

They are brilliant!

After riding all autumn with Belgian booties it was time for something warmer. Saw them in store and thought they look like good solution for cold winter days. Always used waterproof shoe covers in the winter, but they looked slightly higher, thicker and warmer then my previous overshoes. Liked small details - reflective stripe at the back and stronger panels in high wear areas. Front and side is covered with warm fleece and they looked well made so decided to treat myself and boy... first ride - I clearly remember I was riding across the field on my gravel bike with big smile on my face and I thought they are brilliant! I was warm and dry. It was +1C with fog and drizzle. Would highly recommend if you like warm and dry feet and want to ride outside during the winter. 5 stars from me, thank you Specialized!
