If you're ready to take your trail riding to the next level, let us introduce you to your new friend, the Rockhopper Pro 29. We built it to be light, durable, and exceedingly capable, but how we did it is far more interesting. It all starts with an A1 SL alloy construction that'll resist corrosion and take a beating, while the components are purposefully selected to squeeze every last drop of performance for the money. Along these lines, we spec'd it with a mix of Shimano Deore XT and SRAM, fast-rolling Ground Control Sport tires, and a plush fork from RockShox. But what we're most proud of is the Rockhopper's Trail 29 Geometry. It features a low bottom bracket, roomy top tube, and short chainstays to keep you ripping and confident both up and down the trail.
The frame is constructed from lightweight A1 SL aluminum in order to provide a compliant, durable platform to support our acclaimed Trail 29 Geometry. Combined, you get a bike that's more than efficient on climbs and eager to get down to business on descents.
A RockShox 30 Gold suspension fork offers 80/100mm (size specific) of plush, high-performance travel that'll smooth out the bumps and ruts on your trail rides. It features proprietary technology from RockShox, like its Solo Air™ spring, that maintains an ideal equilibrium, as well as being one of the lightest air springs on the market.
The Shimano Deore XT rear derailleur is one of the most sought after components in mountain biking. It's remarkably reliable, precise and crisp in its shifting, and is nothing if not durable.
