We have a long history of developing the world's highest performing road bikes. Tarmac, Venge, Roubaix, Allez, Diverge—each one dominates their respective category, featuring the best technologies in the industry. And while that's a tough palmarès to follow, the Turbo Creo SL redefines e-road bike performance. It's lightweight, smooth, capable, and lively—all with the power to flatten mountains, laugh at headwinds, and go farther than you ever thought possible. It's you, only faster.

The Turbo Creo SL Comp Carbon features out Fact 11r carbon chassis. Yes, that's the same one on the S-Works model, and you'll also get a Future Shock 2.0. For the spec, we included a 1x Shimano GRX group to take on shifting and braking duties, while DT R470 Boost™ wheels get wrapped in 28mm Turbo Pro tires to keep you rolling worry-free. And for the saddle, you'll find that our fan-favorite Body Geometry Power Sport provides plenty of comfort.

  • The Creo SL is the lightest e-bike in its class—literally kilograms lighter than the competition. Not only does the lightweight and stiff FACT 11r carbon frame inspire dancing on the pedals and diving into corners, but it also reduces overall system weight and increases the range.
  • The lightweight SL 1.1 motor doubles your effort with as much as 240 watts of silent and powerful assistance to amplify your ride. The motor’s responsive torque curve delivers power perfectly in-tune with your normal riding cadence and leaves no resistance when riding unassisted.
  • Battery anxiety? Not on the Creo SL. With up to 80 miles of range from the internal battery, the Creo SL eats up big miles and long days. Our optional range extender provides up to 40 additional miles of mountain-flattening power.
  • By connecting with our Mission Control App, you're able to tune the SL 1.1 motor to your riding style, record rides, and monitor the battery. The app can handle battery management automatically too, ensuring the battery will last as long as you need it to. The motor even has a built-in power meter that transmits to any ANT+ head unit. Don’t want to connect? No worries— the Turbo Connect Unit (TCU) on the top tube gives you all the control you need to ride.
  • With the Future Shock 2.0, you'll feel a reduction in fatigue and an increase in speed, no matter the terrain. The 2.0 iteration gives you more control via a knob atop the stem. This knob adjusts compression from fully-open to stiff, while hydraulically-damped internals control rebound. The new Smooth Boot, top cap, and Future Stem also enhance the aesthetic, so you get a clean transition from head tube to stem.
  • We’ve learned there can be more difference between two male cyclists than between a male and female. Gender alone doesn’t provide enough data to specialize. It means that separating bikes as male or female is arbitrary and outdated. With this in mind, we've developed a geometry that's best-fit for all riders—one that's comfortable, snappy, and handles like a dream.

Its Incredible

I swore I would never be found riding an e bike. After having ridden bike patrol at work, and riding thrice weekly after retiring, it was getting to the point that it just became a workout instead of fun as I approached 70 years of age. Several friends own Creo's and after watching some of them ride away from me, I decided to give it a try. One test ride at the dealer convinced me this was the real deal. The only thing I can compare it to is riding on a nice, flat stretch of road and suddenly getting a 15 MPH tailwind. You still get a nice workout but without exhausting yourself. The Creo put the fun back into my riding again.

Premium Bike

I am 54. The bike is very solid and I don't regret getting this bike over a non-electric bike at all. I appreciate this bike the most on truly windy days. I've been riding for about 11 years now and having this bike at my older age keeps me moving really well. I like the specialized shock absorption a lot as I feel less tired from the ride tension and more just plain tired from the muscle exertion which is the way it should be. I had a dual-speed bike previously and I appreciate this single a bit better. I don't feel the need to go back to dual as I've not run into problems on uphill or itching for that truly bigger gear.

Great bike

I am 67 and have some health problems. This bike is great. I can ride with groups that are now faster than I am, and I can ride longer, harder and up a lot of elevation that I used to be able to do, and now need a little assistance. I get the same workout. The bike feels like a road bike should. With the extra battery in the water bottle carrier ( and a double bottle carrier in the front) I don't run out of juice or water. Tires take up to 38mm so can do gravel without a second bike. I am extremely impressed with this bike.

A fun ride and helps

A fun ride and helps me get out every day! I am 6 feet tall and bought the XL on sale from the website as it was a great deal. I was a bit concerned but I think it is the right size for me and has a more comfortable position for long rides. I bought it for a fast commute to work and also for help on long weekend rides. I have put many miles on it over the summer. Very nice on the mountain roads and rock solid on descents. When I use low assist I get the same workout as riding my lighter bike up the hills, very smooth.

Fantastic bike!

I absolutely love this bike. After having knee surgery last year and a complicated recovery, I finally decided to get an e-bike so I could get back outdoors and this bike has been perfect! I can now ride the hills in our neighborhood, keep up with my cycling group and have been on two cycling vacations (Canada and Italy) with this bike. (Note - in Italy, I rented the same bike). The front suspension helps smooth out rough roads. I look forward to riding this bike for years and years. It's easy to operate the 3 modes and I'm still learning the app but I like it so much, I'm hoping to buy a Tero mountain bike next year so I can hit the trails and run errands.

This is a really well

This is a really well thought out and designed bike. A proper road bike that rolls well and gives a good ride without the assistance whilst providing a decent boost on climbs and into wind. The gearing needs a bit of getting used to after a standard set up but that is a fairly quick adjustment. The battery has not yet been exhausted on a ride and it seems to meet Specialized's claims. I was surprised that a 56cm frame on my Roubaix transposed into a size L on this bike but it was spot on and I find it very comfortable on long rides. The latest Future Shock system with variable adjustment is a good improvement and I adjusted to the Power saddle very quickly, thereby aborting the pre-ride intention to change it. Reasons for going electric vary but if you want a real road bike for proper rides that provides a boost as you need it, this bike will do it.

Turbo creo sl comp carbon

I’ve ridden it about 3000 miles this summer. I ride in eco mode on flats, downhills and moderate climbs; sport or turbo on steep climbs or strong headwinds. My range on a charge is about 60 miles and 5000 ft of vertical. Using external power meter, I find that my output is about 20 watts less than it was on my s-works tarmac sl4, while my times for a 20 mile hill ride are about what they were 12 years ago (I’m 72 years old). In other words, it’s turned the clock back about 12 years. I have only two complaints: the internal power meter is optimistic by 20-30 watts and the motor noise is annoying. My wife’s turbo como is much quieter. The biggest benefit is that I no longer dread the steep climbs or strong headwinds

As a 58 year old

As a 58 year old road bike rider this is a game changer. I’ve put 300 miles on my Creo in the first two weeks. What I love about this E bike is I still get a great workout but at a faster pace. I am 6’2” and weight 230 pounds and purchased the XL. I be been averaging 40 miles in just over two hours and still have over 60% left on my battery. I ride mostly in eco mode.

I ride my SL in Vail. The time trial course up Vail mountain has always been a challenge. By age 65 I just couldn’t do it without significant knee and back pain. Amazingly I now ride it like I’m 35 again. My heart rate still gets up there and this bike goes downhill at 50mph like a Lamborghini.Wow!!!

best bike i've owned.

I've been biking for the past 15 years. I started off with a Scott Cr1, giant c1, specizlized sworks tarmac sl6. I first got introduced to ebikes with an intense tazer. The specialized creo sl is the perfect bike for people wanting the exercise benefits. I'm finding myself staying in my target heart rate zone. The only difference with this bike is that you can explore and go further in the allotted time. Being married with kids, its hard to go for a 4-5 hour bike ride without the wife wondering why i'm not helping with the kids. In an hour its easy to go for a 20-25 mile ride. I'm about 200lbs and the thing that I love about this bike is the stability I feel while going 35mph down a hill. With my other bikes It would feel slightly sketchy going these speeds. I believe the weight distribution and the weight of the bike helps make the bike feel safer.

Get one while you can

I love this bike. I've gotten older and I have a harder time with climbs and would get dropped by my riding buddies. Now with a bit of added boost I can take on any climb, keep up with the younger and stronger riders in my group and still get a great workout. This bike feels and handles like a road bike should and at the end of the day a 60 mile ride leaves me feeling all happy and ready for another 60. Get out and ride this sucka.

I own performance BMWs and Audis, but no vehicle has ever given me more pleasure and enjoyment than my Turbo Creo SL Comp Carbon. I fell in love with it before taking it for a test ride. It’s a marvel of engineering and design that continues to exceed my exceptions. I own a Trek Madone and a Carbondale Synapse, but my ride of choice is the Turbo. It’s perfection.

Fountain of Youth

This is a Great Bike. If you are having trouble hanging with your younger riding friends, this bike is the answer. Eco mode is enough to make it possible to ride with almost anyone. Think of each assist level as taking at least 7 years off of your age for each push of the button. Is there anyone that wouldn't pay $7000.00 to be 21 years younger again. I am 78 years young and find that eco mode leaves you ride all day and gives you 80+ miles with 3000 feet a elevation per charge. Life doesn't get any Better.

Seamless experience with the power profile of this bike

It rides like a non electric road bike with same handling and feel. Its wider than average tires help with absorbing road bumps. The handlebar height and the top padding is perfect and this is rare with factory bikes. On average I use 20% of the internal battery on a ride and so can go 3-4 days without recharging and in so doing get longer life from the battery. The range extender battery pack can be discharged first so it is being recharged instead of the internal battery and it is more convenient to take this RE battery pack inside for charging. Now when it is very windy out I still go for rides and it was much more of a dampener with my regular road bikes. With the battery and motor assist the headwind is easy to overcome and maintain a pace. Misson control app for smartphones is very well done and makes it easy to change power settings and monitor the battery. My only complaint is with the quality of the saddle provided on a bike that cost me $8,000.

It's me, Only Faster

I bought my Specialized Creo SL Turbo, middle of September 2021. My first test ride experience was the same day I bought it. I was Amazed just as I turned on the assist how quickly it responded and quiet, with just little motor noise. I up - graded my shoes. When you buy a high caliber bike you have to make some more changes. I got Pair Body Geometery S-Works shoes.I have been a specialized fan for almost 9 years and wouldn't settle for anything less. when I'm riding I get alot of looks from the ones I pass to the left, I get this inside smile to myself and think, oh yeah, what a ride....

Included valve stems

Love the bike thus far. Looking forward to riding in the hills as I get older I find a little assist very rewarding. I find my hands do not get as numb as riding my Roubaix. Must be the new shock. I found however that the included valve stems to go 2bliss does not work with the rims, kind of disapointing given the cost of the bike. I have only had 3 rides thus far. I still work pretty hard and am tired by the end. It is a work in progress...

Confidence to climb!

I have been road cycling now 17 years and initially struggled with steep grades especially towards the end of long rides. At 56 years of age I had to quit for a few months because of a cardiac condition. Six months after my pacemaker surgery I’m riding again and 11months later I’m climbing with confidence again! This marvelous technological wonder has allowed me to ride the distance and elevation that my colleagues and I had been doing 10 years ago. This Creo Carbon SL will get you there!!

Have gone from total exhaustion at around 10 miles or less to upward of 25 - 30 miles. Some day would like to try an S-WORKS CREO SL EVO model to see were it would take me but for now the Creo SL gets me back out there.

A superior cycling experience

I've owned the Creo SL Comp for just over a month and am still learning how to maintain a constant cadence through the use of gears and adjustments to the e-bike power selector. Over the past week my speed has become more constant and hills simply disappear. The bike is really comfortable to ride and its light weight looks and feel resembles a road bike rather than an e-bike. I would have awards the bike a 5 star rating if it were not for two areas of concern. Firstly I am saddened a dual charging lead is not included in the purchase price of the range extender unit. Secondly I suspect the rubber band that holds the output lead in the top of extender will one day snap. Yet a replacement band is not currently listed on the Specialized accessories list.

A really good investment

Best investment ever. I am now 72 yrs old. Have been a club rider for years. Have owned a number of conventional bicycles. The most recent one I have owned for 8 yrs and rode it. It's a beauty, lightweight carbon fiber, Ultegra DI2. Still own it but had become difficult especially at the end of long rides I was running out of steam. So decided to buy a Specialized Turbo Creo SL Comp Carbon.. Got it February 2020 just before pandemic hit. Have now logged over 3k miles on it, a lot of solo rides because of Covid. Now small groups are coming back, I can ride with confidence and often times pitch in to pull up front for miles. This bike gives me the ability to do so..... Highly recommend it.
