What is it about gravel that's so appealing? Is it the break from hectic city streets and cars? Is it the audible crunch of rocks beneath your tires? Or maybe it's just the feeling of adventure? Whatever it is, the Turbo Creo SL EVO is here to assist you further into the forest, down the gravel road, or on your next adventure. It features the same motor, battery, and frame as its road-oriented cousin, but takes advantage of tire clearance and adds in some adventure-ready components to take you wherever your heart desires. It's you, only faster.

The Turbo Creo SL Comp Carbon EVO features out Fact 11r carbon chassis. Yes, that's the same one on the S-Works model, and you'll also get a Future Shock 2.0. For the spec, we included a 1x Shimano GRX group to take on shifting and braking duties, while DT R470 Boost™ wheels get wrapped in wide 38mm Pathfinder Pro tires to keep you rolling fast and free on either pavement or dirt. And for the saddle, you'll find that our fan-favorite Body Geometry Power Sport provides plenty of comfort, while the X-Fusion Manic Dropper Post comes in handy when the descents get a little hairy.

  • The Creo SL is the lightest e-bike in its class—literally kilograms lighter than the competition. Not only does the lightweight and stiff FACT 11r carbon frame inspire dancing on the pedals and diving into corners, but it also reduces overall system weight and increases the range.

  • The lightweight SL 1.1 motor doubles your effort with as much as 240 watts of silent and powerful assistance to amplify your ride. The motor’s responsive torque curve delivers power perfectly in-tune with your normal riding cadence and leaves no resistance when riding unassisted.

  • Battery anxiety? Not on the Creo SL. With up to 80 miles of range from the internal battery, the Creo SL eats up big miles and long days. Our optional range extender provides up to 40 additional miles of mountain-flattening power.

  • By connecting with our Specialized app, you're able to tune the SL 1.1 motor to your riding style, record rides, and monitor the battery. The app can handle battery management automatically too, ensuring the battery will last as long as you need it to. The motor even has a built-in power meter that transmits to any ANT+ head unit.

  • With the Future Shock 2.0, you'll feel a reduction in fatigue and an increase in speed, no matter the terrain. The 2.0 iteration gives you more control via a knob atop the stem. This knob adjusts compression from fully-open to stiff, while hydraulically-damped internals control rebound. The new Smooth Boot, top cap, and Future Stem also enhance the aesthetic, so you get a clean transition from head tube to stem.

  • We’ve learned there can be more difference between two male cyclists than between a male and female. Gender alone doesn’t provide enough data to specialize. It means that separating bikes as male or female is arbitrary and outdated. With this in mind, we've developed a geometry that's best-fit for all riders. One that's comfortable and snappy on the road, yet features all of the attributes you'd want from a proper gravel bike—a long wheelbase, raked-out fork, and low bottom bracket that keeps the Turbo Creo SL EVO stable at high speeds and delivers control in corners.

Creo Evo Comp

I bought this bike 6 months ago and put about 1000 miles on it, here are few thoughts. Overall is an excellent bike with good handling and components. I got rid of the dropper post because I didn't like it much and switched to a carbon post. The group set is really good. The assistance feel is great and very natural. The amount of power is perfect, I wouldn't wish for more. The most amazing thing about this bike is that you can ride it without the motor assistance and behave like a normal bike. The thing I like the least is the engine noise. If you ride it on the road with cars or higher speeds you can not hear the motor at all. As soon as you get to a quiet gravel road with no traffic, the motor noise will be too invasive and ruin the riding experiance. For me its a five star, I would buy it again and recommend it to everyone that is interested in this type of product. I only wish the motor was quieter.

Makes me want to ride!!

I’ve done around 700km on this bike so far and it’s just excellent. Really responsive and a lot of fun. The power delivery is seamless, it’s just that helping hand on the big hill. It’s really helped me to get out and do more, I love it!

Great Bike

The Creo SL Comp Carbon EVO bike is everything I had hoped it would be. I have only taken 2 longer rides on it and wanted to share my initial feedback on the bike. I have a ride that is my go-to ride it is 40 miles total out and back with two big climbs the first is an 8% about a quarter mile then out to the dam with another 6%-10% 3-mile climb, and lots of short hill in between total elevation gain of about 1500 feet. I have been riding a Diverge Carbon Comp with carbon wheel on this same ride for years and on a good day I average 13mph and pretty much need the afternoon to recover (after all I am 71 years old 205lbs). With the Creo using mixed power levels learning how to best use the power I averaged 16.5 mph with 18% battery at the end of the ride and I felt like I could do it again. The Creo feels and handles as good as my Diverge Comp.

Rides as advertised...but it gets better!

Everything said in previous posts about the ride is true. I started getting multiple warnings about motor disconnection on a 3 month old bike...local shop, with the help of a Specialized technician, determined the cause and replaced some wires...fixed! Appreciate that this was supported by the warranty without a hassle. Thanks River City Bicycles and Specialized.

Game Changer

Been an avid roadie for years , bought a Yamaha Wabash (Gravel E-Bike), it was OK. Just picked up my Turbo Creo SL EVO, WOW, WOW, WOW what an awesome experience. Light , fast and comfortable, found riding with power off to be surprisingly easy. Then on the hills when you need a little extra the motor really helps, would suggest this to any rider who is getting older or needs a little help.

Great bike, but part 1

1. This ebike is great, we have 2 Creo’s in the family. 2. You pay $500 more for an evo where all you get more is a dropper seatpost, different shape handlebar and cheaper tires, but everything else is the same, even the chainring though the evo ring is supposedly 44, but it is also 46. Shimano gravel Eqipment on the road and evo version, also same wheels. 3. If you buy a specialized, for some reasons you have to live with crankcycle cranks, means all proprietary stuff including tools and inferior support manuals. Have exchanged them on the other bikes except the creo which has a wider hub Q where no other scenarios exist. 4. If you have expensive road wheels which you like to use on your Creo, bad luck, the creo uses MTB boost hubs. Problem solver offers spacers and JJBP offers conversion axles, but it’s a little bit messy. 5. Best option is to buy the cheapest creo carbon bike and add your own specs. But, don’t rely on specialized, as different components are usually sold out.

Great Bike

This is my second e-bike, but my prior bike uses a hub drive and cadence sensor and weighs about 75 lbs. This bike is light and with the mid-drive motor, it operates much more like a regular bike, but only faster. Once you set the level of assistance (None, Eco, Sport or Turbo), you can just use the bike gears to get around without thinking about the electronics. Eco provides plenty of assistance for most riding, and even on my first ride I found I only switched over to higher assist levels once I got tired or wanted to go faster. I also love the 1X front gear set-up which allowed me to just upshift or down shift the rear cassette until I found the right gear regardless of whether I was climbing or descending hills.

Awesome ride!!

Purchased as a 75th bday present. Best bike ever. A true life changer. Was tired of chasing riders in my group as I was working too hard to keep up. Lost my passion for riding. Found an available Creo EVO and jumped on it. What a great decision. Now ride with the group, mostly in ECO mode, though SPORT mode comes in handy on steeper climbs. Also a great equalizer in moderate to strong headwinds!! Have ridden 1600 miles in 2 month and having the time of my life. Joked to my wife that ECO mode is like I rode in my 60s, SPORT mode like I rode in my 50s, and TURBO mode is like I rode in my 30s!!! Have gotten 100 miles out of one charge in ECO mode too. And burned 09% of a charge in a hilly 35 mile ride in TURBO!!! Great fun.

CREO Carbon

Très bon vélo, très roulant, bonne assistance Électrique ! Cependant malgré le prix assez important du vélo, il est impossible d’avoir un code promotionnel chez SPECIALIZED, ce qui est vraiment dommage.
