FACT CARBON HT FRAME
When it comes to the creating the perfect blend of climbing efficiency and proper trail manners, it's nearly impossible to beat a carbon hardtail frame. The reasons for this are stacking. To start, compared to a full-suspension mountain bike, the lack of linkages, shocks, and extra cables saves a tremendous amount of weight. Then there's the issue of the power transfer of pedaling forces. With a hardtail, you'll never run the risk of dissipating your efforts by compressing the suspension with your pedal stroke, meaning that every watt is going straight to the rear end of the bike. And with a carbon fiber construction, this is amplified to a high degree. While many hardtails experience a tradeoff in vertical compliance and bump absorption to achieve the aforementioned, our razor thin seatstay design ensures that there's the perfect amount of give at the rear end when the trail gets a little hairy. So when speed is the name of game, a carbon hardtail is almost always the logical choice.
