The carbon molding process also allowed us to revolutionize how you carry your trail essentials with the all-new SWAT Door found at the down tube. This compartment will fit a tube, a tool, and pump without rattling or compromising the structural integrity of the frame. Perfect timing

After trying an S-works version of this bike, I simply had to have something that at least resembled that feeling. The SJ Carbon Comp did just that for me. As time went on and recovered from the investment, I upgraded to 29" Roval Carbon SLs, carbon handlebar and cranks.... The result was insane and till this date (9 years later) it's still a pleasure to ride up, and downhill. In hindsight it was perfect timing as 2016 introduced boost wheels in their SJ's , keeping this bike still relevant 10 years ahead... Well done Specialized!
