Great Looking Bike, a Shame They are Never in Stock

I own a 2010 Sirrus Pro and have been dying to upgrade to the Sirrus 6.0, but they are impossible to find, it’s like the old comedy line, always in style, “but never in stock”, come on Specialized, get your act together!

I'm in love!

Just drove from Boston to NYC (via Ithaca to bring my son down to NYC for the semester) to pick up the Sirrus 6.0 from Bicycle Habitat. Took at 28-mile jaunt on local roads today. What an awesome ride. It's sleek yet stable, and very responsive. Definitely has a rode bike vibe, but handles gravel with ease. The hydraulic brakes are great. A huge upgrade--minus ten pounds-- from my loyal Crosstrail, that I'd been commuting with for about 6 years. Not easy to find these right now, but well worth the effort if you have the good fortune.

Sirrus 6 review

This bike is amazing. I have been waiting for a road bike with flat bars and a performance drive train. I was at the point of where I was going to build one from the frame up until I found this one. This bike checked all the boxes I wanted in in bike I was going to build and them some! This bike does it all; road, fitness, commute, gravel. It's a 2 wheeled Swiss Army knife. It's light, responsive and nimble.

Another happy owner of a 2021 Sirrius 6.o

I am now once again riding regularly after a 15 year hiatus due to bad knees which have now both been replaced. Up to 80 km/ wk now and adding in more climbing. I opted for the 6.0 after finding that at 77 the on the 'drops' is not the most comfortable place so I still have my Campy equipped Cannondale with intentions or returning once the Sirrius creates a more pliable me. I, like Mark found the stock seat overly hard so substituted a nicely executed; SQlab Ergolux active saddle and the Ergo 5.0 bar ends - both have tamed the beast and it is not the comfortable ride I had hoped for

Could have made it lighter....

Just saying - I mean Specialized could have made the seat out of aluminum or titanium - both much lighter than the granite they used in the saddle instead. But seriously its a great bike - so glad I trading my Stumpjumper - I'm too old for Jumping Stumps and and granite seats..!!

Loving the 2021 Sirrus 6

I ride 5-6 days a week 10-30 miles on the bike paths in Santa Monica, California. Most of my friends ride regular road bikes when I had been riding a Brompton folder for the past seven years due to space consideration of only having a front trunk to store a bike. As soon as I made the switch to an SUV, I made the switch to a ""real bike"". I chose the 2021 Sirrus 6 because I wanted a hybrid, carbon fiber bike with good gear set and tech specs. The price for this quality of bike was very reasonable as well. Carbon Fiber bikes are very hard to find especially during Covid. I found my 2021 bike that was literally brand new at The Pro's Closet.com (they were great to deal with). The bike is light as a feather, fast, great looking and there is a Specialized store in Santa Monica (Cynergy Bikes) that can service the bike when needed. I am 73 and love the feel of the bike: the front suspension smoothes out bumps, gears and disc brakes are perfect. I did switch out the handgrips to Ergons GP5 as I was used to the, on my Brompton. I can now keep up with my friends who have Treks an Cannondales. My only concern is that the matte black can get scratched easily and yet very difficult to clean up to keep it looking néw. Looking forward to many years and miles of riding.

Love it!

I didn't own a bike. Knowing nothing about bikes I got lucky & picked this one up in May just after the start of COVID. I've turned into a cycling junkie, riding about 50 miles a week. I'm no cycling expert but this one is light, fast, comfortable... just what i wanted. Size XL weighs just under 21 lbs.

Great Bike Worth the Drive

I was riding more due to Covid ... great social distancing exercise/activity. I needed a new/faster bike. I was bummed to find the bike shops out of all but the most expensive bikes. I zeroed in on this bike based on the stats and price. The closest one in stock was over 500 miles away in New Orleans. After a few weeks thinking about this bike (I even dreamed about it once), I called the shop in New Orleans, and they indeed had it in stock! I arranged to have it assembled and picked it up a couple weeks later. Right away, I was amazed at the speeds I was getting out of this bike. I started pushing my miles up and moved from trails to streets. I joined a local bike club and have no trouble keeping up with road bikes. I find this bike to be exceptional on hills especially.

Excellent Bike. Excellent Company

I bought my Sirrus 6.0 in May 2020. In 5 months, I have put over 4000 miles on this bike. Soon after I purchased the bike, they ran out of almost the entire stock throughout the country. I could not be happier with my purchase. I absolutely love this bike. I love the agility, the weight, the speed. They say this is the bike that blurs the lines between a road bike and a hybrid and I totally agree. I regularly pass up well equipped road bike riders. I like the upright geometry. I have used this bike to get fit. Losing over 45lbs in that same amount of time. This bike is such a joy to ride. It just makes you want to ride more often and longer distances. Here is why I love the company. I have just brought my shop in for a tune up. The rear wheel was wobbling a little bit. They told me I had to replace the rear wheel. The rim was failing around the spokes. Inwas bummed, as i thought about how much it would cost. Today, my bike shop called to tell me that they had called Specialized and that that they were going to replace the wheel for free. What a great company and a great bike shop. I knew when I saw this bike online that it was what I wanted and I knew that Specialized is a great company. I was proven right in both cases. Thank you foe a well crafted bike and hours and hours and days of joy riding it!

Excellent Choice

Mainly 10 to 20 mile rides on paved bike paths, couldn't be happier. Bike is comfortable and as fast as I need it to be.

Absolutely LOVE this bike!

I usually ride a Roubaix for long rides but I am lacking a little in the climb. I bought the Sirrus 6 to change up and train for a better climb ability with my Roubaix. Perfect combination for cross training. The Sirrus 6 is a joy to ride and works different muscles than my Roubaix. I could not be happier.

Great bike!

I used to ride a road bike but had a crash during a race on my head so my neck has never been the same and doesn't like the downward position. This flat bar bike is an answer to my prayers! I can still cycle up mountains, go over some rough roads with my head held up proudly high. I love this bike! Thank you!

Not my best purchase

My first specialized bike, went for tubless option but 2 trips to lbs & 100 miles trying to get them to seal failed so I put tubes back in. The bike does ride nice though.
