Amazing bike!

so. a few things. first the tune on this shock is excellent. it's very gradual. virtually no bob but also compliant. they did a really good job with fox on this float x shim stack. second. this is a LIGHT 150mm frame. mine came in at 6lb 5oz which is way way under the competitors but it's also very stiff. the bike also climbs pretty well for being a 65.5 head angle in the steep position. you can't attack a hill like you can on an XC bike but it's a very reasonable trade off in return for the trail / enduro performance this platform brings. This is not a hard bike to build under 30lbs and brings a lot of performance to the table. fit and finish are also tier1.

Super stable on the down hills when things get fast, climbs almost as well as my regular stumpy. Definitely glad I added it to the quiver, its a perfect Downieville bike.

Great trail bike. Super comfy, confidence inspiring and just plain easy to ride. Active suspension soaks up the trail and provides incredible traction. Slack HTA makes this a rocket when pointed downhill. All this cush does not prevent the bike from popping playfully off jumps, roots and rocks. The frame's adjustability allows you to tailer the bike for your preferences and the areas/trails you ride.
