The S-Works Fuse is a different kind of trail bike. Sure, it maintains the no-expense spared pedigree that S-Works is known the world over for, but even still, there's more to it than meets the eye. This bike proves that hardtails still have a valuable place in trail riding.
To start, it lives by the philosophy that more tire volume results in more speed. It might be a claim that sounds flipped on its head, but one ride and it'll have you shouting this sentiment from the rooftops. Our 6Fattie Wheel/Tire System puts out more traction, more floatation, and better handling without sacrificing anything to efficiency on climbs. And with the philosophy of the design out of the way, it came time to solidify its place as a proper trail machine. This system also allows you the opportunity to toggle between 29-inch wheels (not included) and 6Fattie wheels, allowing the ultimate in configuration options for the trail at hand.
This S-Works carbon version of the Fuse places a focus on blending all-out ability with performance, and to do so, we spec'd it with a no-holds-barred list of components, like the all-new 12-speed SRAM Eagle drivetrain and our exclusive Öhlins RXF36 fork.
This Fuse is like no other before it, combining lightweight performance and efficiency with trail-crushing geometry and integrated SWAT™ storage for the real ultimate trail hardtail.
- FACT 10m carbon fiber frame construction blends stiffness with light weight to form the pinnacle of efficiency, while internal routing tubes and integrated an SWAT™ Door create a tidy aesthetic and zero-hassle storage.
- Öhlins RXF36 fork features 120mm of travel and a three-chamber air spring with two positive chambers and one negative. This allows for an offset of spring pressure that perfectly mates stiffness with a plush, responsive ride quality. The shape of the spring curve can also be adjusted to increase sensitivity without bottoming out.
- The XX1 Eagle drivetrain is the pinnacle of shifting performance, floating through the 12-speed cassette with crisp, precise shifts.
