In 2018, Mischa’s world was turned upside down when she was hit by a truck during training, suffering a devastating series of injuries that doctors feared might leave her unable to walk again—let alone race a bike. But Mischa refused to accept that fate. With relentless grit and courage, she fought her way back—step by step, pedal stroke by pedal stroke.

Today, her palmarès is nothing short of a medical and athletic triumph. She has claimed multiple stage wins at top-tier races, conquered one-day classics, and in 2023, delivered a particularly emotional performance to take the European Champion title.
