Simply, underrated

i mean uderrated by its drivetrain and price, the bike is worth investing and can be upgraded greatly, the only con about it is no space for a boost axle in the rear, the frame it self is excellent, tho if got the money i reccomend changing asap the fork, drive train (except for the support and cranks) gear shifters, brake's to hydraulic ones, not needed tho, and changing a fork to a rockshox, marzocchi or a fox

Great for the experiences

This bike may not be a super nice bike but it got me into mountain biking. This bike may have single handedly changed my life. When I first got this joke o didn’t get Ben mountain bike I just used it to get around town. I one day took it out and it was awesome. I started to go out more exploring local trails. I ended up really investing time into mountain biking. In less than a year I put 1000 miles on the bike. It was a little small and o definitely pushed this joke to it’s Limits. However it made me who I am today. I joined a team and started racing cross country. This was the best investment in my life. It’s 500 bucks and in the end you pay for the wonderful experiences and memories you have. I have so many fun adventures on this bike I will remember for the rest of my life. If you or someone you know wants to get into mountain biking get this bike, and it just might change your life too.

Derailleur Issues

Bought three of these bike for the kids. I have had derailleur issues on two of the already. The bikes have not been ridden hard and really just around the neighborhood. I had higher expectations.

Amazing machine with a reasonable price

This was my first real mountain bike after I got sick of throwing away Walmart bikes because of cheap components. The Pitch can handle it all, I typically ride at least fifty miles a week and have never had an issue that left me stranded. The rear cassette is kind of a hit or miss, I had to get the sunrace replaced with a Shimano due to a defect in production, other than that not so much as a flat in the 3 months I've owned it. For those that don't have a Shimano rear cassette, it makes this bike that much better, what hills?

Awesome bike for the price you pay!!!

I did some changes the day I brought this bike, pedals doesn't has the grip you need , so with $40 I got the problem fixed ,buying another pairs of flat pedals .also the sit for me was to hard , so with $55 I got one with better comfort. The cables inside the frame makes a lot of noise when I'm at the trails, so I did some adjustments to avoid the annoying noise.(zip tights).since then I can't complain at all! This hard tail 2018 pitch 27.5 medium size is the perfect mtb.

Very Good

Very good bike, by far the best trail bike in this price category. Better quality grips would be nice

Good bike

Great bike. No issues yet but grips have wore down really quickly and pedals are very slippery.

I would buy this bike again.

I use it mainly on the road but occasionally take it off road to a dirt field with jumps and trails. The only problem I have had in the last six months I've owned it was a broken spoke and bent mech hanger but that was because of operator error. The grips wore down fast and had to be replaced. Overall this bike is a great bike.
