Lorena Wiebes is, without question, the dominant sprinting force in the women’s peloton. Few can match her speed, and even fewer can come around her in the final meters. In April, at just 26 years old, she celebrated a remarkable milestone: her 100th career victory.
Her palmarès speaks volumes. She’s worn the Dutch national champion’s jersey on the road, the world champion’s stripes on the track, and currently races in the blue and white of the European Road Champion—for the second time in her career.
This March marked the long-awaited return of the women’s Milan–San Remo, a Monument famous for delivering sprint finishes. It was a race tailor-made for Lorena, and when the moment came, she delivered flawlessly, adding yet another historic win to her record.
Iconic moments define a rider’s legacy, and few are more symbolic than donning the first yellow jersey of the inaugural Tour de France Femmes—something Lorena proudly did in 2022.
