We know that we're not blowing any minds when we say carbon is pretty cool. Compared to an alloy frame construction, it keeps weight down, does an exceptional job of absorbing bumps and vibrations, and it allows us to take more liberties to fine tune the ride quality. For these reasons, we made the Fatboy Expert Carbon.

It features an immaculate FACT 10m carbon layup that performs the aforementioned, while also allowing us to integrate fully internal cable routing. And in keeping with the theme of blending performance with efficiency, we built the bike up with a top-notch, X01 one-by drivetrain and SRAM's fan-favorite Guide R brakes. The Fatboy Expert brings new efficiency and fun to the fat bike category.

An immaculate FACT carbon fiber construction ensures that the frame is lightweight and plenty stiff in all the right places. Internal cable routing is also incorporated, ensuring that slush, sand, snow, or dirt will have no bearing on performance out on the trail.
A FACT carbon fiber fork provides tons of compliance and absorbs chatter, while simultaneously keeping the overall weight of the bike down.
HED Big Deal carbon wheels are light, fast, and 85mm-wide to make sure that you get all of the traction and floatation that fat bikes are known for, only without a weight penalty or having to make any sacrifices to climbing prowess.

HAnds down the best fatbike I've ever ridden

This bike has all the top end components and is super light, I sometimes forget I'm on a fat bike. I would tell anyone who is a cycling enthusiast, once you ride this you'll not want to ride anything else!

Fatboys are awesome! for snow and single track

I ride my Fatboy almost as frequent as my 2017 Stumpjumper Expert. I take it on lots of blue and black diamond single track dirt trails in the Washington Cascades and think its more fun than my FSR. Mine has a dropper post and front suspension and strongly believe these are two must have components that Specialized is now leaving off. These bike are so much more than just a snow or sand bike. They are a BLAST! all year.

Wouldn't trade it for the world

I've had my Fatboy Expert Carbon since 2016 and it has brought me places that I'd otherwise never been exposed to, from the remote beaches and interior of Iceland to recently completing the 2018 Tour Divide and everything in between. So light and nimble yet it stands up against the harshest conditions and terrain.
