The Fast Trak Control 2Bliss Ready T5 has become synonymous with fast and lightweight tires that are able to handle the most technical courses and the most grueling conditions. This model redefines what was thought possible with a cross-country tread design. Our Block-In-Block design uses a taller adaptable inner block to pierce the ground and claw for traction. The larger outer structure supports the inner block for additional speed, traction, support and stable handling. Adding to this, the Fast Trak profile and knob spacing has been optimized for a wide variety of internal rim widths. The Control casing is our light and durable do it all XC construction. To top off this build we use our fastest rolling, race ready T5 compound with excellent wear and tear protection.

  • Casing: 60 TPI, light and durable do it all XC construction.
  • Bead: Foldable.
  • Butyl wrapped bead = 2Bliss Ready.
  • Compound: GRIPTON® T5.

Front/Rear XC Tire

Works well as either a front tire in less aggressive conditions, and amazingly in the rear for a more demanding trails. Using an Ground Control in the front creates a more light trail feel, while a renegade rear is suited for weekend races. Great tire for the 100-130 travel range when used properly.

Cheap & Light, but Poor Sidewalls

These seemed like great value at first, but after about a year of fairly light use, the sidewalls are all cracked and weeping sealant so the tyres have had to go in the bin, despite having plenty of tread. Definitely has given me doubts about the quality of materials used and explains why these are so cheap.

Fast rolling and reliable

A while Back (2015) I owned the previous generation of renegade with the previous compound , although they were fast rolling they punctured easily and where not super consistent on small rocky roads. Now with my new combo of a fast track in the front and a renegade in the rear I can say that Specialized have done their homework, the new T5 compound and tread pattern is awesome, will purchase again for sure ,If you prefer more control Purchase a fast track front and rear.

Amazing tyre!

This tyre amazed me! They roll really fast and feel very sticky. When I do climbs, they literally dig into the ground and they don't break traction at all; the bike just kept on wheelie-ing! Insane. When I descend hills and lock up the rear rear wheel, it doesn't just slide out like most other tyres I've ridden, they feel as if they're pulling you back and I literally stop, EVEN on a steep hill. These tyres are amazing!

New Tires

Wasn’t happy with my current setup and wanted something different that was fast and grippy at a good value. Rode these tire 10 years ago so I gave them another try. They are perfect. Great tires at a great price. Fast and provided great traction. I run ground control front and fast track rear. Used them for a race and they performed great.

These are relatively light because

These are relatively light because there’s no grid technology sidewall, just T5 compound so they wear ok, they’ll last longer than T7 S Works tires. I do cross country so I like fairly light tires that roll easy that are easier to get spinning and that also have pretty good grip in my opinion. They seem to grip ok in the usually hard ground that then ends up loose on top and hard underneath, every once in a while it rains gets wet and they’ll handle that to a point. Great tire.

My only bike at the

My only bike at the time is a 2022 Specialized Fuse Comp. I love the 2.6 Eliminators that came on it for general trail use. Recently I've been wanting to go on the local group gravel/adventure rides, but thought it would be difficult keeping up. So I put these Fast Trak T5's on another set of rims I had laying around and I couldn't be happier with their performance. This is a very fast rolling tire for the green, and double track trail type riding encountered on the group rides.

Confidence Inspiring

I'm not one to install a new tire that I have never trained on and go racing, but I did so with the new Fast Trak T5, and I did not regret it. Through 60 miles in the the Texas hill country, on rocky, loose, wet, and at times muddy terrain, the Fast Trak stayed true, providing predicable traction and a supple ride, without sacrificing speed. The Fast Trak is confidence inspiring in the toughest conditions.
