The Crux is the lightest gravel bike in the world, with the exceptional capability of massive tire clearance and performance gravel geometry. It’s not just the ultimate expression of gravel performance, it’s your one-way ticket to gravel enlightenment.

This Crux Expert comes spec'd with an intuitive and crisp-shifting SRAM Rival eTap AXS hydraulic disc groupset, incredibly tough Roval Terra C Disc wheels, and 2Bliss Ready, 700x38mm Pathfinder Pro tires that hookup over nasty terrain.

  • Lightest: 725g S-Works 12r and 825g 10r frames. We took the revolutionary breakthroughs that made Aethos the lightest bike ever and applied them to the Crux. The result? A gravel bike that climbs like a dream, floats over nightmarish terrain, and weighs less than a full bottle in your cage.
  • Capable: 47c/650b x 2.1” tire clearance. More clearance means more capability. With Diverge-level tire clearance, Crux takes you anywhere you can imagine, at full gas.
  • Responsive: Nimble, supple, and reactive. Responsive at the pedals. Supple in the saddle. With performance gravel geometry and race-influenced fit inspired by Crux’s iconic history in ‘cross.

All you'll ever need!

Biking is my passion. I never raced or did it professionally but I do it for my own enjoyment and to keep in shape. After owning over 10 different high end bikes, I always found that something was missing with them. Till I found Crux. I am on my third one, 2016, 2019 and now 2024 model, and each and every time they amaze me. A bike that you can fit almost any size tire on, and also a bike that you can take from the roads to the trails with no issue. I am sure, if you are reading this, you all did you research on YouTube already and you are confused why everyone loves this bike.....Trust me, you will also:)

No more N+1

It's my everything bike, always with 47c tires mounted... the lightness of the frameset offsets the big tire weight, making it my favorite bicycle in my historical quiver of arrows. We do a lot of climbing here in Portland OR, this gravel bike is an elevation gobbler. Sold my other 4 bikes to have one that does it all.

amazing

The Crux is the Aethos of Gravel Bikes Specialized Definitely got it Right with This Bike!! I Had a Trek Checkpoint SLR6 which was a good bike but not as fast as the Crux on or off the pavement! Team Specialized!

Comfort and Speed

I have ridden many gravel bikes and my last gravel bike was the Specialized Diverge. Moving the Crux gave me what I was missing on the Diverge. More speed, a tighter/stiffer feeling bike, and sharper handling. Don't get be wrong, the Diverge is great bike but just wasn't scratching the itch I had. The Crux has scratched the itch I had.

A rocket on gravel but stiff

- The Crux is made to go fast on gravel and it does - Doubles as a non-racing road/endurance bike with diff tires. Can also become a go-fast road rig with 2x and diff cassette/tires. - Slicky tires for hero gravel only - S brand runs larger than others, so may need to consider 1 size smaller - Add a 2nd roll of bar tape over the Supacaz tape - Sold my Checkpoint seconds after buying the Crux - My Boone is more comfy on gravel but not as snappy

Amazing Bike

Everytime I get on this bike I smile. It is fast, light, nimble, comfortable. In short, pretty much the perfect do all bike. I've ridden this on singletrack, fireroad, paved road, gnarly, smooth, and everythig in between. I never feel beat up and the bike is more than capable. Love it, super purchase. I highly recommend this bike. Not a regret on the build, although I did upgrade to the carbon Roval Terra bars.

My favorite bike ever

I can say only good about this ride. Beauty and grace. Lightweight and solid, it does just what I need. Road ride, no problem, gravel, no problem, Classic, no problem. Skinny tires? no problem, fat tires? no problem (I have a set that measure 48mm and have plenty of space left). Don't pass this bike up, get one if you can. Deal of the century IMO. Absolutely love this bike. Wish I had two.

Not for everyone

I am in between sizes. I opted for a larger size with a taller stack. Unfortunately this bike is way too stiff and not enough seatpost to flex like it should. It did not meet my expectations and I ended up returning it. Beautiful bike and amazing customer service. I’ll do some more soul searching and find something that works better for me

Bike is light, wheelset is

Bike is light, wheelset is nice. The 49 cm version with the flared out gravel bars makes it very difficult for anyone who is the proper small size to ride this bike able to reach the full size SRAM brake levers. We’re going to have to switch the bars out. Specialized really should do this. The tires are also so so. They have to be changed out for cross and anything less than an ideal dry day on the gravel.

Great bike

The Crux is light weight and versatile. It feels at home on gravel, road, and CX courses. It can even be ridden on smooth singletrack trails.
