Definitely More than I Expected

All I really wanted was a comfortable bike for daily fitness riding. What this Specialized 2.0 gave me are a series of surprises. I'm 75 and hadn't ridden since a crash on my Gitane back in the '70's. Man, how far bikes have come! Precision shifting with finger clicks. Predictable, solid disc braking. She rolls smoothly with great tires and good gearing setup. And I'm able to get a good workout without my back acting up because of the upright riding position. At my age a step-through might have been a better choice, but this 2.0 has the look I want in a bike. It came with platform pedals which were a bit slippery when wet so I did an upgrade, the only mechanical change I've made. Try one - you won't regret it.

Great Cruiser/Commuter/Fun!

Finally made the switch from my old mountain bike to a hybrid. Found the Crossroads at my local bike shop and loved it from the first ride. The geometry and the larger volume tires are the greatest strengths. It allows for a comfortable upright riding position while still being easy on the backside. I have a couple hundred miles on mine now and it rides like the day I bought it. My only suggestion would be to swap out the suspension seatpost for a standard post. It makes it more difficult to find the right seat height due to the bit of compression and isn't necessary, because the stock saddle is excellent. This bike has brought back my love for cycling.
