DAY JOB
Floor Manager at Bangtail Bikes

YEARS RIDING
5

PRIMARY RIDE STYLE
Mostly road and cyclocross, but I am a daily commuter, also.

FAVORITE RIDE PLACE/ROUTE
I love to climb up to Hyalite Reservoir from downtown Bozeman, MT. It’s a consistent uphill, and once you get into the National Forest there’s no cell service. I love the quiet scenic climbs.

FAVORITE POST-RIDE FOOD/DRINK
Lately, I’ve been really digging coconut water after my hot rides. And any time I can finish a big ride with some tacos is a great day.

BIKE NAME
I used to name my bikes, but now I have so many I’ve lost track! My custom steel frame bike is painted green, and my little brother named it Clover. I know I will never sell that one, so the name is stuck for sure.

CLIMB VS. DESCEND?
Climb!

DREAM RIDE
Alpe d'Huez (or any of the rides from The Tour, really).

FULL LYCRA, Y/N?
Yes, even when I ride mountain bikes, hah!

DREAM RACE/EVENT
I have secretly always wanted to do one of the Red Hook Crit races. It looks like a crazy amount of fun.

I LOVE RIDING WITH
My roommate Aubrey is such a great training partner. She knows when to push the pace and be encouraging, but is also down to take it easy and stop for photo opportunities.

WHY DO YOU RIDE?
I ride so that I can see all the beautiful places near where I live. It’s so amazing all the places a bike can take you, especially on a gravel bike—I feel like I can go absolutely anywhere.

SKILL YOU WISH YOU COULD MASTER BUT HAVEN’T (YET)
We have a lot of mountain biking available in Bog Sky, near where I live. I am really working on being more confident on the mountain bike with downhill and hitting the techy switchbacks—it’s still a bit scary for me.
