The All Condition Armadillo continues to be the leading tire for anyone who needs…
We deliver! Just say when and how.
The All Condition Armadillo continues to be the leading tire for anyone who needs top performance blended with puncture-resistance. This workhorse tire is impressively robust for touring and commuting, as well as being tough enough to navigate the roughest road conditions.

I have been in the recommended pressure range and its happened on two different sets of rims now. Hooked rim with tubeless setup...not injured (thank goodness) but dont know how to trust em
Everyday commuter, I drive over lots of crap, these tires are holding strong 💪 in honestly amazed coming up on a 1000 miles no flats. Goodtimes.
Very easy to install on my Sirrus 2.0 rims. They ride very well and smooth. I personally could not tell any difference between these and a non puncture resistant high performance tire. Many reviews I read before I got them stated the Armadillos were more heavy and slowed you down but I could not tell the difference at all. And I have the extra peace of mind that comes from not having to worry about a flat all the time.
Have had several pairs of these tires. Have found them to be durable, roll well and are ideal for my winter road bike. Very good general duty tire and value.
I rarely get flats with these tires and thorn resistant tubes - maybe one flat every 4000 miles or so.
Excellent tires. I've used these for years and they have definitely saved me from a lot of flats!
Bought these tires because a friend recommended them. So far they have resisted goat heads which is a big problem in my area. They are a bit difficult to install.
Armadillos are the best puncture resistant tire on the market. I have used the for many years. My local store stopped carrying them a few years ago and I tried one of the competing companies equivalent product the gatorskins from continental. Within six months I had gotten several flats on them where I have never gotten flats so quickly on a pair of armadillos.
These tires are bullet proof when it comes to flats.
In terms of punctures, these are the best tires on the market. I used to ride Vittoria Rubino Pro Endurance tires, but when those became almost impossible to get on a rim, I went looking for an easier option. A friend was going to be replacing her tires for a ride we were about to do, so I offered to swap them out myself. I couldn't believe how easy they were to get on a rim. I did both tires in less than 5 minutes total. When I got home, I ordered a set for me. I've now been riding Armadillos for over three years and over 30,000 miles and have had only 2 flats in that time. And what punctured the tires those two times, would have punctured anything else on the market. Their durability is also topnotch, with me getting over 5,000 miles on a set before I have to replace them. I've never been a fan of Specialized bicycles, but their Armadillo tires, if you get the 60 TPI tires, are like having flat insurance that you never really have to use.
So far so good. It’s not for the spandex wearing weekend racers. It’s a good city commuter tire.
2800 miles, 3+ years, no flat. Getting the same tire again
Good wear, ouncture resistant, all weather
My wife and I just finished the Trans America Trail (4200 Miles) plus all the training miles in preparation. We both rode with the armadillos and had no flats in spite of the debris and sometimes poor road quailty . Two big thumbs up for their durability and the ease of handling all weather conditions we faced. I will ride these tires as long as they are available.
I have a mixed surface commute of 20 miles each way and have played with heavy bomber tires to training race tires and I keep coming back to the All Condition. I run a 28c at 80-90psi. I ride through the PacNW winter and they are great in the wet. While not a race tire they have a comfortable give, but I am riding a 40 spoke touring wheel! Glass and standard road debris are rendered powerless in delaying you. As they wear they do become susceptible to fine wire, but this is it's only achilles heel. Of course you do have to pay attention to the road they are not nuke proof. But if you have a lengthy commute or want a bomber trainer this is a fantastic tire.
I've been using the Specialized All Condition Armadillo for ever. When inflated to their maximum pressure, they are bullet proof. Years of use tell me what I can expect from them. I just installed the ""newer"" version of the All Condition Armadillo. This is the regular, not Elite tire, size 700 x 28c. The older version specified 125psi maximum pressure, which I always used. The newer version specifies 95psi maximum pressure. My first ride with the new tires at 95psi grabbed some glass which did penetrate the tread, armadillo, and tube. I did not think this would ever happen. My only thought is that maybe the higher pressure will further prevent this. I can not dislike this tire.
I use these tires on my flat bar road bike I use for commuting. Traction is excellent in all conditions. I was pleasantly surprised when this ""traction"" tire had such low rolling resistance. No wonder this is a best seller!
Commuter and fitness rider, this tire handles it all. On my third set and getting ready to go for my fourth set.
