Zee Cage II for 280-Wh Range Extender - Right

I have the Gen 4 Levo and the range extender, which I use frequently as a standalone “lightweight” battery. Mounting this battery is a bit fiddly, and requires you to flip the lip at the top end of the cage, getting it out of the way so your bottle will clear the mechanism. Well, props to Specialized for engineering a sturdy mount for the battery. 5 stars. As for the bottle cage, it seems like an afterthought. The flip mechanism is hard to operate, and feels like you’re gonna break it every time you use it. You just have to force it. What’s more, mine broke off while simply carrying a bottle. My Spec. dealer was kind enough to get me another one off a new bike right away. Let’s see how long this one lasts.
