When the road ahead looks more like a pockmarked battlefield than a bike path, you're in need of some extra help. You need something like our Body Geometry Bar Phat that's proven to reduce hand pressure by up to 50%. Yes, you read that correctly.

50% reduction in hand pressure for 4.5mm thickness, and a 40% reduction for 2.5mm thickness. *Not all thicknesses may be available in your area.
Clear, shock-absorbing gel pads fit both road bar top and drops.
Gel pad design can be trimmed and reused for different sets of handlebars.
Sleek design adds minimal thickness only to the tops of the bar, not the entire diameter.

Does what it promises - lots of cushion!

Simple review - adds extra cushion to your bars if you feel like you need it. For the gravel roads I'm riding, I need it. I am super happy with the 4.5mm thickness. Only area I would recommend improving is to make the tape a little longer. There is no room for error on installation - there was barely enough to complete the job with the up-over-around method for the levers. I'm not a figure 8 fan, but if you are, this might not be long enough for you. Bottom line- great product, would recommend.

Not a good combo

I installed the item and Im honestly not very pleased with the outcome. I referred to some reviews, and I trusted they were fairly accurate. I am particularly dissatisfied with the thickness/bulkiness. The only option of padding available is a 4.5 mm. When you add the Phat handlebar wrap combo, its just too much. The handlebar tape accompanying the gel is not a good combination.
