x1 broken clamp

Failed on a 2023 S Works Crux post race yesterday 19/10/2025. 5’ 11, 75Kg rider, torqued correctly. Something going on here. Fractured bolt head side, up at the bolt.

2 broken clamps

I have had 2 clamps fail on my 2024 S-Works Crux. In both cases I used a Park tools torque wrench to accurately tighten the bolt to 6. 2 NM. When the first one broke I purchased 2 replacements directly from Specialized. For reference, I am 6 feet tal and 173 lbs so it not a huge load. Beyond being disappointed in the quality, safety is a real issue here. Had it happened at Gravel Worlds a couple of weeks ago my race would have been ruined. Please figure out what is going on. I will be buying a clamp from another manufacturer because these cant be trusted.
