Renegade Control 2Bliss Ready T5

I have this tire front and rear. Front tire has a small tread puncture that will not stop weeping Stan's sealant. Rear tire is worse, it has (3) small tread punctures and about (50) tiny tiny weeping holes where the tread meets the sidewall and now it goes flat overnight. and this is the T5 version not the "thin wall S-works" version, can't even imagine what those are like! I have used Maxxis Aspens and Rekon's with Stan's for years on the same trails and have never suffered this issue.

I decided to go with these after riding with the stock hubs and rims for over one year. They look great on the bike (bling…) and the install went well. The rims arrived with the threaded valves and tape installed so I just went with a new set of butcher T9 and eliminator T7 tires plus 120 mL of sealant for each tire. I am a few rides in without any issues. (I transferred my rotors and cassette from my stock rims too). They just look cool and i dig the life time warranty.

I will definitely recommend this tyre!!! I have rode several thousands of km om my mountain bike and this is my default tyre. I am a heavy guy that mostly do pave and tar km. I get between 5 000km and 6000km on a tyre. Tyre is very steady with more than enough grip for normal mountain biking.

I moved to Yuma recently and the soil is soft, sandy, with a bit of rock but not overly sharp rocks. I really wanted to find a tire that helped speed things up through the sand. I took off my 1200g enduro-ish tires and took a chance on these. They have been a great choice and no complaints about the ride quality or traction. Recommend!

A while back (2015) I owned the previous generation of Renegade , although they were fast they where not reliable and puncture easily . Specialized did their homework with the new compound and tread pattern . I really love the renegade for a rear tire and a Fast track in the front . Overall happy with my purchase and will surely buy them again.
