The Ski Jumper Who Took Flight on Two Wheels

Born to fly—literally. Primož Roglič started as a world-class ski jumper before launching one of the most remarkable second acts in sports. After a crash on the ramp, he swapped skis for a saddle, turned pro in 2013, and never looked back.

Roglič’s journey with Specialized began in 2013 on the modest Adria Mobil squad. In 2024, he rejoined the family with BORA– hansgrohe—then delivered a signature win at La Vuelta just as the team became Red Bull – BORA – hansgrohe.

Resilient, relentless, and always rising, Primož isn’t just a legend in the peloton—he’s one of the greatest Grand Tour riders ever, a symbol of reinvention, and one of Specialized’s most inspiring athletes.

“There is something special about Roval Alpinist wheels. I really enjoy the way they feel on big mountain climbs and descents. I train with them almost every day.”
