‘Landismo’ Really Is a Thing!

No fans show their passion for cycling quite like the Basques.

When a race winds through their mountains, a sea of orange-clad devotees floods the passes—chanting, cheering, and turning every stage into a celebration. From this devotion, Landismo was born. It’s not just something you see—it’s something you feel.

For years, Mikel Landa has been the beloved figure at the heart of it all. Through triumphs, setbacks, and everything in between, his fans have never wavered. Landa is as versatile as he is respected—whether chasing glory for himself or taking on the role of super domestique to lift others to greatness.

Mikel joined Soudal–Quick-Step at the start of 2024, and with his laid-back nature and the Landismo effect, has gelled well with everyone. We’re sure to see him on the front at the 2025 Tour in support of Remco.
