Mountain Bandit

Love this idea. Unfortunately the alloy stumpy (2023) has no SWAT box. Ok get the mtn bandit/inflater/CO2/ spare tube. First time out in decent terrain rear tire rubbed a hole right thru it. Also caused me to bail on a jump as it slowed the bike so hard. End of day…. Hard tail dint hesitate to purchase. Full suspension be wary. Maybe with more travel or a longer frame. Specifically I have 2023 stumpjumper s3 size

This could possibly be user error, but my tube fell out of this twice. I am a mountain biker and regularly do drops and jumps. After the first time I lost my tube, I meticulously packed the second tube as perfectly wrapped and tight as I could get it. The next time I dropped my tube I lost my tube, my inflator and a CO2 canister. I was not able to find these items and I am now replacing them. I decided I would not use this item anymore and it currently sits in my parts bin. My pump and tube and everything now gets shoved in the swat box where it should have been the whole time.

I think it’s great but could be better if it were a little larger. Today’s tire sizes require very large tubes, which barely fit in this. But I still think it’s pretty great as it is.

I have two of these things. Use them for holding bear spray (there's a lot of bears in AK). This design checks all the boxes for bear spray: holds the spray tight; not too tight that you can't get quick release; close access for quick draw; isn't in the way (I don't notice it is there); works with dropper. HInt: keep the polyester sleeve on the bear spray, it will still hold tight. I've tested this summer on over 500 miles of hard trail, and it works perfectly. However, I haven't had to pull it yet in action.

I added this to my Epic Evo to hold my spare tube, tire lever, and a CO2. Works really good. Nice and snug under the seat.

Compact little unit that holds spare tube, CO2, tire lever very well. Minimalist, no frills. Works with dropper seat post. Highly recommended.

Paired this with the zee cage w/tool and I never have to put a pack or anything in a pocket again

I use this to strap my phone to my saddle, keeps things minimal. I don't need to wear a jersey if I want to go for a quick ride. Works well and enables me to do laps around the park with my bluetooth headphones on and my phone is securely strapped to the saddle.

My 22 Stumpy Evo has SWAT internal storage, which is great, especially with the water bladder. However, a normal spare tube takes up a lot of space. Having the tube and a cartridge strapped under the saddle, is a good solution. My CO2 head won't quite fit as it has a builtin gauge. Now, I can put way more stuff in the frame including a tubeless plug kit, more tire levers, another C02 cartridge, CO2 head, chain tool, a few first aid items and lots of food. Most importantly, I don't need a pack or to keep anything in my pockets.

Love this product. Was suspicious at first but it holds it all in nice and tight.

Does exactly as advertised! Everything is very secure and after many long miles nothing has fallen out.

Was able to store everything as expected and described. I've been on multiple rides and everthing stayed in place. Not sure why others experienced problems.

Fits everything I need to ensure I am not stranded out on a ride with a flat tire. This fits neatly and securely under the seat.

Everything fits nicely in this but it comes open easily. I've been using it on a Epic Hardtail and pretty much on any downhill something will fall out. I think they just need to beef up the attachments on the next model and it could work nicely.
