The Roval 321 is the fastest disc wheel in the world, and it doesn’t need to draft the seat tube. Instead, the seat tube and wheel blaze their own aero paths, allowing us to shave weight and improve ride quality without increasing drag. It also creates the slickest 1x setup in the start house.

We’ve shaved almost 200 grams from our cockpit with a one-piece bar and stem design and a very efficient use of hardware. But we did it while maintaining a stable and adjustable platform to ensure you can achieve your fit and hit your apex, no matter how fast you’re going.

The dropped seatstays slash drag. That’s why they’re at the UCI limit and nearly invisible to airflow. Designed for high power in the saddle and quick accelerations out of it, these stays also improve the bike’s balance, so all that speed can be confidently handled.

DISC BRAKES FOR GOING FAST
Disc brakes make this bike faster. With the fork crown and seatstays unencumbered by brake calipers, we sculpted them to shave significant drag. And when you add thru-axles for improved stiffness and balance, you get the perfect marriage of speed and control.

We’ve been testing in our Win Tunnel since 2012, and we know a down tube matters more for stiffness/weight than aero. So, we made sure this one greatly increased power transfer and shed weight, while also hiding it behind the front wheel to ensure the Shiv TT is still the fastest bike in the world.

We learned that a seatpost any narrower than our Venge post is harsh and heavy, and it’s not any more aero with a rider in the saddle. So instead of reinventing the wheel, every Shiv TT uses a proven Venge seatpost—lighter, more compliant, and just as fast as the skinniest post the UCI will allow.
