    A beauty!

I love this bike, after a custom fit and a new saddle. I am not a fan of the factory saddles from this or my 2013 Ruby Sport. But this bike is a dream! Shifting, brakes, handling all are top notch for me! I would purchase again and have recommended to friends!

You have to try it to believe how amazing this bike is.

Excellent ride quality, the suspension works like magic. Really happy with my purchased.

    Smooth, Comfortable and Responsive

I have to amend my previous review and say that my ride today was near perfect. I didn't experience any wheel wobble, the ride was smooth over the broken pavement I ride and the shifting was flawless. I guess in sudden gusts these wheels may catch the wind more than my previous ones, but I'm getting used to it.

    Ultra smooth flying machine

I bought a 58 Roubaix Expert as an upgrade to my early 2000s Cannondale Six-13. It was like night and day. It breathed new life into my cycling. The bike rolls and cuts through the air smoothly and the Di2 is just perfect. The suspension just eats up rough roads. I can't believe how comfortable this bike is. The disc brakes have massive modulation and stopping power...why did we ever have rim brakes!? Best bike I have ever ridden. I'm a Specialized convert...

    Love it

I'm an amateur and coming from an old trek 5500 and do primarily distance, and climbing. This bike is night and day from my old one. Not only is it gorgeous (I have it in the crimson berry color) but it's very smooth and the adjustable future shock is great. I spent the extra money because I do a lot of climbing and wanted the lockout feature. I would say climbing and sprinting with it on comfort is a bit bouncy and I do notice it. I feel like I lose momentum that way though it's fine once it's locked out. Could just be in my head though. Comfort mode is great for casual distance biking. Not sold on the sworks power saddle though it's not uncomfortable. I might change that out eventually. If ever I was in love with a bike though this is it. I would say I wish it was a bit more customizable for the price though I.e. switching out tires, upgrading components, seat choice, etc.

    Mixed Emotions

I purchased my Roubaix Expert two months ago as an upgrade to my 2018 Diverge Comp, which I've been riding for almost a year. I really like the Roubaix except for one thing...it transmits too much road chatter (even on fairly smooth roads). This seems strange for a bicycle designed to handle rough surfaces. On the up side, the bike is very similar in geometry to the Diverge. The FutureShock 2 handles rough surfaces better than the original FutureShock. Shifting is flawless. The supplied saddle is very comfortable. In short, I like everything about the bike, except for the rough ride. I'm a big guy, and right at the weight limit of the bike, so perhaps this is part of the problem, though I'm not feeling the noise on the Diverge Comp.

The Roubaix we've been waiting for

I purchased my Roubaix Expert (Gloss Crimson) a week ago and have put in about 50 miles so far. Plans are to use this for long endurance rides as well as many long distance triathlons (I will throw on some aero bars). Overall, my initial impressions are that this was money well spent as it was my first ""expensive"" bike. Prior to this bike, I had a 2008 Roubaix Comp Triple that still works fine(these bikes are made to last), but did not see the reason to upgrade/get a new one as the changes over the past years were minimal and not complete(felt like they were still putting the bike together...for example the future shock). This bike has it all, from the carbon wheels, electric shifting, disk brakes, new frame design and the future shock 2.0. Initially, I did not see the value in the future shock 2.0, but this is huge and they got it right. Reminds me a lot of my hardtail mountain bike where you can adjust the front suspension depending on whats ahead. Suspension is critical on the ride as it give you more control and helps you absorb impact along the way (even formula1 cars invest a lot in suspension). Thanks Specialized for the great product and wish me luck as I hope to keep this one for at least a decade!

    A Absolute Gem

Having taken delivery of my Expert 2020 (Red) a month or so ago and riden two sportives on it I can say I am delighted with it. It looks amazing and has attracted the envious attention of many but whilst that's nice its how it rides and feels that really matters. The best summary I can give on this is my experience of a recent sportive over some terribe Lancashire roads. At times it was like being off-road but this wonderful piece of engineerng just sailed over it. I had two horrible potholes that I was unable to avoid and I think on many other bikes one or the other could have been my undoing. Looking forward to many happy future rides on this absolute gem.
