2019 WaterGate Water Bottle Cap

I bought four water gate lids recently. They all require a very hard squeeze of the water bottle to get liquid to flow and then close quickly, leaving the bottle with big creases in the side that take at least 10 seconds to release as air flows back into the bottle. Skip these and go for the MoFlo, which is less money and works much better.

It’s just a simple water bottle cap but it is flawless. Drinking without having to physically open the cap is a game changer.

We love these lids. Not only are they awesome for all our rides (MTB, Road, Gravel, aound the hood etc…), they are also awesome for the kids to take to school. They love these bad boys!

Too hard to get water out then the bottle doesn’t refilll with air leaving is misshapen and prone to fall out of the cage

I had problems with the Fixy Water Bottle Cap leaking sports drink on my bike frame while riding on rough roads when the bottle was full. With the Watergate cap I can prevent the leakage by keeping the poppet valve closed until I've drank about 1/4 of the bottle.
