    2020 Turbo Levo Comp

We designed the Turbo Levo Comp to be a proper trail bike, first and foremost. It takes geo, kinematics, and design cues from our newest trail bikes, like the Stumpjumper, and adds industry-leading tech that gives you the power to ride more trails. New motor? Check. New battery? Check. Incredibly lightweight and capable chassis? Check and double-check.

ROWDY DESCENTS. STEEP CLIMBS? HELL. YES.

The Turbo Levo is a fully-fledged progressive trail bike. We’ve lengthened the reach, kept the chainstays nice and short, and maintained a low center of gravity. Next, we slackened the head angle for more confident descents and steepened the seat angle to improve climbing efficiency. It’s dialed.

    MORE POWER, MORE RANGE

The Levo’s Specialized 2.1 motor amplifies your pedaling input by a mind blowing 410%. Our M2 batteries provides you with plenty of range. What’s more, our Mission Control App can handle battery management automatically, ensuring your battery will last as long as you need it to. More power. More miles per ride. More awesome.

    • M5 alloy Sidearm frame offers outstanding ride quality and control.

    • Smoothest, most powerful motor on the market.

    • 150mm of suspension front and rear, courtesy of RockShox.

    Two years later and........

I still love the bike but not the service from Specialized. They've changed their business model and shops having specialized bikes are gone in my NJ area. What can I say except I can't get my bike serviced except by people that don't know my bike. Specialized seems focused on their new models sent to shops in various areas after you order online. The wrench that set my new bike up perfectly and stocked Specialized lost that ability when he found he would not be able to stock their bikes. I can't even get a Specialized person on the phone to help me out. So I'm left with a 2 year old bike and can't get a Specialized local shop to adjust or repair anything.

    Yes!

    I am considering a 2nd one now.

I shattered my pelvis and broke my femur racing motocross which left my leg with partial nerve damage. I raced mountain bikes for a few years too, so I was really bummed I couldn't pedal my old Stumpjumper up hill very well anymore. That was until I bought my turbo Levo. 20 miles 3000 ftof climbing in. Less than 2 hours. I just racked up 1000 trouble free miles, less tires and brake pads.

    Game changer for disabled guy

I'm paralyzed over much of my right leg due to spinal cord injury - this bike has gotten me back on the trails 25yrs after breaking my back. There's no way that I could ride trails and hills without the motor assist. Complete game changer for me. Enables me to get on the trail, teach my son to MTB and share one of my passions with him. The comp version is fairly well spec'd - super adjustable to most riders and styles. If you have any physical limitations that keep you off the trails, get this bike, it'll change your life

    Best thing I've ever bought

People have a misconception about e-bikes. True if you don't want much of a workout you can put the assistance in turbo and just make laps going downhill. However, I am very active and in good shape. I love this bike because I can still go out and get a good workout even when I'm tired. I have ridden more this year than I have the last five years combined. This bike gets me out on the trails way more. Probably the best thing I have ever purchased.

    Nothing it can't do!

Mid-30s with two kids under 5. Missed the trails I used to ride when I was in better shape. Got the 2020 Levo Comp for me and the 2020 Como 3.0 for my wife. Both pull the Burley trailer like a champ so that we can go on 50+ mile family rides with a picnic break. The kids love it. Then I can take the Levo for all the rides I want to do. The Como 3.0 is a fantastic bike for comfort, speed, and versatility. But the Levo is in a different class and does anything you ask of it from the downhills to the bike paths. The best praise I can give for the Levo is that it allows me to ride the way I used to. The one major exception being that uphills are now as much fun as the downhills.

Another old guy loving his e-bike

Four months out of a hip replacement and exercising outside again for the first time in years. I love the bike. I can ensure I don't overdue it and get right to the edge of my current fitness level. Riding about 8-10 miles a day so far and getting about 5 rides on asphalt with some hills per charge. I target recharging at around 30 percent. Training using heart rate is a game changer. Sometimes I just use an assist mode and they work great, also. To get to the road I've been riding on I have to go up a VERY steep, but short, trail and Turbo with a low gear makes it possible.

    Fun to ride!

Just bought the bike today and rode a hilly, rooty, 12 miles. Never took it out of Eco mode and it was a great workout. I never would have been able to get 12 miles on this trail on my old bike. I'm older now and my heart rate would have been through the roof. This bike makes riding more enjoyable! Can't wait to do some group rides and some long XC rides. The bike makes the climbs easier so you can enjoy the down hills rather than just be in recovery mode. I took it off some decent drops, through berms, and some small jumps. Riding is fun again!!

I'm really glad I bought this bike

I ride in Northern NJ on trails peppered with rock gardens. Some areas have tight switchbacks and are hilly with some steep hills although nothing like Western states. As I've gotten older (78) the hills and my increasing weight have made the steep hills more difficult and exhausting so that hills I could master years ago require breathers. My new Levo has changed everything and I feel like I'm a fit 30 year old. I've only done 2 rides but I'm amazed that I can go up any trail and although I feel the effort I don't have to rest until my heart rate drops. WOW, I do think the bars are too wide in narrow treed woods because I've caught them on several narrow gaps. I intend to stay with the present width unless they interfere too much. I was worried about a loud motor but this one is quite and I only hear it at higher cadence and even then not bad. The best part is that despite the weight it rides lite and solid. No problem getting over logs and up steep punchy short climbs in eco mode. I haven't needed Turbo mode for anything yet. I'm an older guy, but a much younger rider would get even more benefit. I wish I had one of these 40 or 50 years ago.
