Como is a laid back e-bike with a clean look and upright rider position for convenient comfort and style. This full-power electric bike was designed for city streets and comes equipped with fenders, lights, and a low step-through frame, making it perfect for daily commutes or riding around town.

Como offers the best combination of power, range, and usability while remaining incredibly versatile. You will never have to sacrifice comfort for style. You’ll find yourself making up errands to ride it again.

COMFORTABLE: An upright body position and smooth handling are optimized for all-day riding comfort, confidence, and control.

EASY TO USE: The Como's sleek design and step-through frame make the bike an approachable, functional everyday e-bike.

POWERFUL: It’s you, only faster — it’s 4x You, to be precise. The Turbo Full Power system senses the force you apply to the pedals and naturally amplifies your effort by up to four times for an experience that makes getting up any hill or to any destination no sweat. Literally.

SMOOTH: Stay comfortable in the saddle with an 80mm front suspension fork, higher volume tires, and a plush suspension seatpost that smooths harsh bumps.

TURBO: The heart of the Como is its Turbo technology, the advanced and integrated electric bike system that delivers an unequaled combination of power, natural feel, anti-theft functions, training tips, and a full-function bike computer.

SECURE: Como has anti-theft on lock.  Thwart would-be bike thieves by disabling the motor with a press of a button so nobody can turn the motor back on without your personalized pin. For additional protection, the Como's battery locks in the bike, or can be easily taken with you. Beat it, bandits.

SILENT: Turbo Full Power Motor provides smooth, quiet, and seamless amplification for a quiet ride on any terrain.

The speed limit at which the motor will stop supporting may vary significantly by region and is based on local requirements. It may also affect range: a higher speed limit may result in less range.

  • Turbo Full Power 2.0 motor and 710Wh battery offer an unparalleled riding experience, providing a smooth, seamless, and shockingly quiet amplification of your efforts, up to 28 mph. The integrated controller responds to your pedal inputs resulting in intuitive amplification of your efforts with an incredibly natural feel.

  • The stepless shifting enviolo TR Inernal Gear Hub (IGH) features a specifically designed internal gear hub and matching controller. The manual stepless technology is as simple as adjusting the volume on a radio. This allows riders to focus on the important aspects of a bike ride such as traffic or scenery.

  • MasterMind and Specialized app - The MasterMind display reveals all relevant info about your ride and allows real-time tuning of support levels. MasterMind seamlessly integrates with the Specialized app for range optimization tools, advanced tuning, on-ride diagnostics, and more.

  • Proven Smooth Efficiency - We designed a custom testing mechanism to analyze bumps at even the smallest frequency to increase comfort and vision. That precision, paired with a suspended seatpost, higher volume tires, and an 80 mm suspension fork, will flatten roads before your eyes.

  • Turbo System Lock - Use the Specialized app to disable your bike’s motor and activate the motion sensor alarm. Once locked, the motor cannot be enabled again except by the owner.

  • Fully Integrated Removable and Lockable Downtube Battery - Easy to charge, easy to secure.

  • Equipped with DRYTECH Fenders, LED front and rear lights, and 27kg capacity rear HD Rack. The rear rack is compatible with child bike seats, and the bike is also rated to pull a thru-axle trailer.

  • Long-Range - With true ride-anywhere range, go up to 75 miles (120 km) or 5.5 hours of range (eco mode).

Great Bike - Handlebar Mounts a Problem

Love the bike and the features but the unique handlebar shape inhibits using common mounts for iPhone, etc. Does anyone make a phone mount specific to the Como?

Turbo Como 4.0 IGH

Turbo Como 4.0 IGH is a great bike but mine developed a plastic rattle noise by the pedals on its first ride. After a week it began developing a vibration so it has now been two days since it was taken back to the shop. Hopefully it is repaired quickly as we had planned rides that now are on hold.

Darn you Specialized!

I bought one for my wife a few weeks ago. She loves it. The ease of shifting and how smooth the motor is, she is hooked again!! Not her first Specialized ebike. Two weeks later now I own one!! Quit taking my money Specialized!! I wish you only did one thing good, but nooo you do everything great!! Great job with this bike. I really enjoy the seating position and it's easy to go out and put in some good miles along the beach or where ever. Overall I am very impressed with this bike and the IGH. Low maintenance and fun. Kinda like me......

Great Bike!! Fast too (i have reached 28mph)

The bike is great. It makes cycling more enjoyable and takes the suffering out of cycling. I end up using the bike more often when otherwise i wouldn't have go out (when its super winding, rain approaching but i can do a quick ride to beat it, or when i didn't sleep well and im fatigued). I have the 4.0 IGH and keep in eco mode most of the time so i still get a great workout. The fastest i have gotten in eco mode giving and all out effort is 23/24mph (i was dying). In sport mode 28 mph is attainable with a good effort and well as in turbo (of course). Max speed that I reached down a bridge is 32/33 mph and that's where i think the max is..... Battery life so far is as advertised from my experience. My normal ride is 46 miles and i have just about 500 miles on it in 1.5 months . I love the cargo rack and lights. Great bike that make cycling more enjoyable ( takes the surfing out of it) and in turn you'll you is more often

Good Bike... Do your Homework

My wife and I now each have a Turbo Como 4.0 IGH. I have had mine since late spring, and for the most part am pleased. The details about how to get the most out of riding these bikes are not intuitive. Make sure you want a bike that does NOT have motor assist without pedaling... these do not! They do ride very well, and the power available is adequate for most needs. We live in a very hilly area, so the need for a little more assistance would be nice. All in all, the Turbo Como 4.0 is a Good Bike. I would avoid the 3.0 if you have hills to climb often.

Well designed and fun to ride

I really like the IGH and Enviolo shifter, and they help make it the quietest bike I've ever ridden. Th motor and drivetrain are well integrated it's not "pushy" and feels like it's just smoothly augmenting your own muscles. I'd like the bigger motor and automatic shifter on the 5.0, but I balked at paying $1,000 more for them.

Top speed For IGH 20-22 moh

Been riding for a week. The 4.0 IGH will not reach 28 mph per specialized customer support: Thanks for reaching out to rider care. There is no way for a rider to adjust your bike to be unlocked to go 28 or 20 mph. That being said, I was able to pull your bike up on the back end and see that it is already set to 28mph. The IGH models have more resistance at higher speeds, meaning they cruise at a lower top speed than their non-IGH counterparts. Cruise speed: is dependent on motor type. Cruise speed refers to the speed a rider would reach in flat terrain in neutral conditions, default Turbo mode (100/100), and with medium effort (around 175 w rider input). For your bike and motor, this means about 20-22 mph cruising speed. I am sorry for the inconvenience. Ride on! Turbo Tech Support Specialist | Specialized Bicycle Components | It’s a great bike but don’t expect class three 28mph. Live in hilly terrain and this bike is not as powerful on hills as my previous 500w hub.
