This bike is pretty awesome. I gave 4 star review because of the peddle strikes, which are terrible. I had to flip the shock chip, put extra air in the shock and still get peddle strikes. I think the only way to change this is change the 170mm crank to something smaller.

Amazing flowy bike

The Stumpjumper comp is an amazing bike. It is amazing for cross country. This bike’s dropper is so smooth and quick. With all the travel you can case almost any jump and be fine! My only downside is the water bottle cage. Not many bottles really fit inside it. Other than that great bike!

Top trail bike

dopo qualche mese di utilizzo intenso, in foresta, montagna, mare, lungo, corto, partendo dal cicloturismo sino ad un enduro non esagerato, posso affermare che questo modello ha soddisfatto ogni mia aspettativa come trail bike. Salita: il meglio lo da sulle salite tecniche, scassate, ho superato passaggi che prima avrei solo sognato.. la 30 davanti aiuta tanto. Su asfalto si sale in scioltezza, ma rispetto ad un modello CX soffre un pò sia per il peso di 14,2kg (senza borraccia) sia per i pneumatici "aggressivi", ma rispetto alla precedente Scott Spark Alu Trail 2021 è decisamente più performante anche in salita. Discesa: e qui tra le down-country che ho provato/avuto non ce ne per nessuno, semplicemente una goduria. Lei va dove sei in grado di metterla, sta a te performare. Non è un "enduro" è una "trail" quindi ti fa dimenticare quel senso di insicurezza nel tecnico/ripido che solo una CX da 100 sa darti!

Réactivité et confort !

Ce trail bike est extrêmement capable : léger, vif et très confortable. Des sorties énervées sur des trails shapés aux grandes randos, il peut tout faire. Je l'ai pris en complément à mon gros enduro pour refaire des sorties plus pédalantes tout en gardant des capacités en passages techniques ,et bien , il rempli à merveille sa mission ! Seul upgrad : une paire de roues carbone, tout le reste est top, le groupe slx parfait de précision et fiabilité. Même la fourche fox 34 rythm est d'une efficacité surprenante. Bref, un bike qui donne beaucoup de plaisir ...

Good for this beginner

It’s a fun bike, for sure. I’m a middle aged man who got it just because my toddler sons enjoy doing the local single track, so I’m not doing anything crazy, but it’s fun when I go out occasionally by myself too, and easy to ride. The assembly service was only middle of the road though (handlebars aren’t correctly aligned, for example), and I’m not really confident about the loud noise the brakes make of lightly engaged. I know nothing about bikes, but it does feel a bit odd and I’ll probably get it checked out to be safe.

Tengo la stumpjumper comp 29"del 2019 y estoy muy contento con ella. Tiene un funcinamiento muy suave en general, es muy bajadora por sus recorridos de suspensión, tiene todas las tecnologías actuales y me transmite mucha seguridad en todos los terrenos. Quizás lo que no me gusta tanto es su peso: 14,60kg. (Carbono), y tampoco me gusta que algunas veces me he golpeado la rodilla derecha con el "brazo lateral" o "side arm" del cuadro, ya que sobresale lateralmente.

The do-it-all beast

This bike conquers all. The frame is incredibly light and it feels nimble but also planted for me on an S4 as a 6' 1" 180 lb rider. The bike feels confident over all terrain and the suspension linkage perfectly absorbs small bumps as well as huge hits while also keeping your back wheel planted on steep climbs with little grip. I call it the do-it-all bike because I have taken on flow trails, tech lines, enduro courses, and jumps and it performs great on all of it. If you are gonna be riding more big mountain lines though I would go for the 160mm Stumpjumper evo, as i do find the 140mm a little underwhelming over some more gnarly and fast terrain.

VTT STUMPJUMPER COMP

Acheté juillet 2021 super VTT super polyvalent. En montée, çà grimpe avec du confort et quand il y a une grosse difficulté le vélo est super réactif donc si t 'as les jambes çà passe. En descente, il passe partout (rappel ce n'est pas un VTT de descente donc parfois çà secoue) stable, maniable et on peut le cabrer dans les virages . Par contre, au bout de 8 mois la direction a rouillée et on m'indique que cela fait partie de l'usure et au bout de 12 mois cartouche selle télescopique à changer et toujours pas de prise en garantie. Vu le prix du VTT et la notoriété de SPECIALIZED, je pensais que mes petits dommages seraient pris en charge ou un geste commercial mais cela n’enlève en rien l'efficacité et à polyvalence du STUMPJUMPER COM.

2021 Stumpjumper comp carbon

I have had this since August 2021 and I'm generally very happy with the bike. It is a great trail bike. The handling is very precise, pedals really well. The build is rick solid and very tight - you will not hear any rattling, only the sounds of your tires on the trail and the free wheel hub. The bike generally climbs very well but the front end can tend to wander on steeper and chunkier terrain. If you lean towards XC and trail, I highly recommend this bike. If you lean more towards enduro, consider the evo. I'm 5'10", 180-180 lbs, prefer handling and comfortably upright riding position - as such, the S3 suits me well.

VTT STUMPJUMPER COMP 2021- Super Machine

Acquis au mois de juillet 2021, 3 sorties faites, le vélo est très confortable et joueur. Concernant la maniabilité je dois encore m'adapter car du 26"au 29" il y a du changement. La transmission SLX fait bien son job, l'étalement des vitesses RAS. A ce jour ce n'est que du bonheur ! Concernant le prix, ça douille.
