Bought two

Bought my first one on sale and it works well so I grabbed another on sale. I wish they were larger but its perfect regardless. This will barely hold a full sized tube but is great for a phone or wallet/keys to keep your pockets free. It keeps things dry and stays put. The velcro is holding up after almost a year of weekly use.

Saddle bag

Awesome design but it’s too small, good for 1 tube and 1 co2 and that’s pretty much it!!

great bag, terrible fasteners

The bag itself is fantastic - no quarrels there. However the two button head screws which are provided to attach the mounting bracket to the female threaded inserts in the bottom of my specialized power saddle came with a lot thread lock. To the point where the threads are completely jammed, and VERY high torque is needed to get the screw in. I think Specialized is absolutely correct to use thread lock in this application, to prevent the screw from backing out due to vibration. However they provide too much to the point where it prevents proper installation. The threaded insert on my saddle has now broken loose, I will be requesting a warranty replacement for my damaged saddle - sad! I think this is a failure on Specialized's part - they created the SWAT system, they have full control of design and manufacturing, there's no excuse for them to get this wrong. To Specialized: yes, make custom saddles, and yes make custom accessories which integrate nicely with them - but execute it well. Then I'll gladly pay money for your products.

Small and sleek looking storage!

A tube, multi tool and car keys fit tightly and the Velcro seems to hold everything so far. Easy to dismount from the seat with SWAT versatility. I do wish it was just a few cm's bigger! All in all it's a nice storage option. Will be adding one to my wife's bike as well.

Surprising flaws for a specialized product

The mount, bag shape and magnet closure are all great, but the velcro doesn't stay closed unless the bag is nearly empty. The hard mount is also SWAT proprietary (shocker) Soon as you get a tube and cartridge in there the chances of it popping open on the trail or on the railroad tracks/potholes etc is 95%. I ended up modifying mine with aditional rubber straps to stay closed but will be ditching the bag all together asap because it and my henge seat are hindering my riding experience.

Not great for full suspension bikes

I like this product, I got the small one and it can fit my wallet, keys and a small multi tool. The only problem is that if you have a full suspension bike the rear tire touches the pack when jumping drops. I think this product would be great for a hard tail, gravel, or road bike.

Perfect for short rides

I purchased the Stormproof Seat Pack (small) for my 2020 Roubaix Pro. It is well-engineered and uses the SWAT mount to elegantly clip under my Specialized seat. It is small, but I only need room for a tube, two tire levers, some latex gloves and a couple valve adapters. It's perfect and keeps things tight and out of the way. Highly recommended!

Smaller than I thought, odd fit with AXS Dropper

I have the RockShox Revert AXS dropper on my bike and to clear the dropper's battery the mount must be installed so that it sticks out from under the seat a bit, and the bag when clipped on sticks out even further. If not for the dropper I think it would make getting behind the seat on down hills extremely awkward. Not had an issue getting behind the seat after fully dropping it so far, but I would not recommend mixing this storage with AXS based storage due to clearance issues. I was thinking I could get a tube in this bag, but the standard Specialized tube for my 29"" will not fit.

Doesn't work with Reverb AXS

Like said above, this bag doesn't work with Reverb AXS dropper post. Battery sits too far back and doest allow pouch to click into bracket. Size wise, it's really small. My CO2 inflator with 16g canister attached to it is too long to fit inside it. I managed to pack inflator head with canister, spare canister, multitool and Dynaplug Racer, nothing more. Decision is yours if it's enough for your needs. It would suit me 100%

No brainer for any Power saddle owner

Great way to bring some essentials along in a both practical and visually pleasing package. The idea of attaching a bag to the saddle through a proprietary mount is not new, but the execution here is excellent. The material is sturdy and waterproof. The bag sits at the perfect spot, preventing any rubbing against the seat post and leaving more vertical space for lights/radars. The size small will fit a regular tube, levelers, CO2 canister and valve, with a tiny bit of room to spare for an ultra compact mini tool. (I also own a size medium and that allows for a couple tubes, regular mini tool, for comparison) My only minor gripes are: the mount is screwed on the saddle through what look like regular bottle cage bolts, but specialized provides very basic chrome bolts in the package. They get the job done but it would have earned some style points if it were black anodized alu (or similar). The saddle has a couple metal pieces on top, and these are not rust-proof. They are invisible when mounted, so no biggie, but again it would have been nice if they had picked an alloy that is not subject to rust.

Love it

perfect fit and look. It expands and that is a plus. Only complaint is one if the screws were not properly machined. Had to dig Allen tool to make it work.

Deserves a design award

In an ocean of identikit saddle bags, this one stands out for a simple reason: IT WORKS WITH A DROPPER POST! If you run a dropper then you know that saddlebags with a loop that straps around the seatpost (i.e. pretty much every single model on the market) don't work for you. So designing around this requirement makes the Specialized Stormproof truly unique. For the rest, this thing just works: easy to access, waterproof, sturdy attachment mechanism, looks good, and just the right size for one large CO2 canister and inflator, inner tube, tire levers, and multitool. Installation is a little annoying if you run your saddle slammed to the front of your seatpost clamp, as I do, but everything else works so well that I gave it 5 stars anyway. The oh-so-fashionable strap-everything-to-your-bike trend inevitably fails, IME, which leaves the humble seatbag as your best bet. If you run a dropper, this one's for you.

Careful re size

The size spec is misleading as the front tapers to less than 3"". I was hoping to fit a larger phone but couldn't.

Only one flaw

Perfect size for the x1 tube x2 CO2 cartridge, x1 CO2 head, but... the velcro strap ripped at the heat sealing very briefly after purchase. I have a new one curtesy of the local shop and will sew the Velcro on better myself, because the bag is perfect otherwise.

A saddle bag that works!

I've been searching for the right saddle bag for 2 years. I've either found the saddle bags too big, too small, not built properly, not water resistant AT ALL when they say they are - it's been a saga. I'm a minimalist and don't carry much...just the basic needs. I remembered that I purchased a Specialized Romin EVO Expert Gel last year, so I purchased the Stormproof Seat Pack (small) and it works like a champ! No rattling! No water issues! Easy access! It's been a joy! For cyclists that don't carry much and have a SWAT compatible saddle, this is the way to go!
