    Amazing Bike

So I got into mountain biking in 2021 and thought I'd I bought the most expensive Walmart bike that I would be ok. Well it left something to be desired. I purchased this 2017 Rockhopper 29 used off Facebook and took it to my local bike shop for a refreshing. And so far its amazing compared to what I was riding now I can actually take it on actual mountain bike trails and feel like I have more bike underneath me where with the other bike it felt like the thing could break in half on me at any given time. Its given me a lot more confidence in my bike. And look forward to riding some more trails that I didn't dare try and ride the Walmart bike on.

    A rock solid mountain bike

I have been using this for the last 3 years in my hometown - Bangalore. This is an excellent bike that has held up well over the potholed roads in my city and the trails and off-beat paths that only have gravel and no paving. I bike about 300-400 kms each month and the brakes, the shocks and the frame have been rock-solid despite the terrain that it has gone through, not to mention the monsoon madness that I have put it through. I wanted to get the same bike in a women's design for my wife but sadly could not find one in the local stores here.

Yes definitely would recommend it to anyone

Great handling bike, would take on anything I trow at it, smooth gear shifting, tires absorb really well. Really good quality bike for the money.

I would reccomend this bike for any beginner

This is my first mountain bike, and though it has a lower quality parts compared to more expensive bikes, the frame is solid, the tires are grippy, it shreds singletrack with no major problems (fork is cheap, and some chain slap occurs), and I have no complaints. I plan on upgrading this bike into the ultimate XC/trail machine, but for now, it's great as is.
