    2018 Enduro Pro 29/6Fattie

"Big wheels" have gotten somewhat of a bad rap as of late, but when paired with the correct geometry, they make for a pretty amazing experience. So, when all-out speed up, down, and all over the trail is what you're after, the Enduro Pro 29/6Fattie will be waiting to answer the call.

We gave it a geometry that features a slacker front end, a longer top tube, short chainstays, and a lower bottom bracket. All of this together makes the bike truly feel glued to the ground, and the platform is more responsive and capable then ever. We even added some bits, like integrated storage with a SWAT™ Door at the down tube, and made "old" new again by making a triumphant return to a threaded bottom bracket. To keep the weight down, the frame is constructed from our top-tier FACT IS-X 11m carbon fiber. And to ensure top-level performance on the descents, this material choice is greeted by 160mm of plush rear and 160mm front travel, plus a geometry that can be "adjusted" via a shock extension with a "low/high" setting.

Handling suspension duties out back is the revolutionary Öhlins single-tube rear shock. And we even made this Enduro to be compatible with our 6Fattie Wheel/Tire system (wheels/tires not included), so you'll always be ready for the trail ahead.

For the build, this Enduro spares no expense at hitting the pinnacle of performance, with a full SRAM X01 Eagle 12-speed groupset, powerful SRAM Code R brakes, stupid-fast Roval carbon wheels, a Command Post IRcc Wu dropper post, and an Öhlins RXF 36 fork up front.

Lots of bike, lots of fun.

I use this as my ride-everywhere bike, up and down. I was a little surprised by the weight. It was a little heavier than I expected but it rides well. I'm actually very content with how it sits. I swapped out a few parts from stock just for personal preference. This is my 5th Enduro (1998 ground control, 2001, 2011, 2015, 2018) and it keeps getting better. It climbs well for a bigger bike and so far descending and dropping have been a piece of cake. The fork is a little heavy and takes a little time to figure out the pressure sweet spots but once you do it's smooth and the bike stays planted through rough stuff. The red/black color way is sharp and gets attention wherever I take it. I don't use the SWAT frame storage but love the multi-tool bit. The wheels I found to be nice and stuff but have needed to tighten up the rear spokes a few times. The rear shock is super easy and quick to find the right settings on. It's definitely a little more bike than I need since I have a Demo 8 for park riding but I keep coming back to the Enduro because it's my favorite bike. The drivetrain range accommodates the weight and size of the bike so I feel I can take it anywhere, on short or long rides. The brakes have ample power and I am happy with the modulation. I anticipated the riser bars being a little too high since I found that to be the case with the 2015, but have realized since getting a lower rise that the ride height of the stock ones is probably right on the money. I put 10mm risers on and increased the stack by 3mm and it feels way to low in the corners. The stock height seemed right on the money after all. It's a great bike, a lot of bike but with a lot of capabilities. You could get away with a less travel trail bike but personally I like jumping up to this model/travel because it pedals so well and is so capable that I find my own limits before I find the bike's. 4 stars and a big recommendation to buy (weight is the reason for 4/5, but like I said it rides lighter).
