It has everything you need to help achieve your goals, like a wide range of gears, a comfortable, upright geometry, wide, grippy tyres, and a whole host of components that are built to withstand years of riding.

You don't have to sacrifice, you just need the Roll Sport.

  • Wide diameter, 650bx2.3" Nimbus Sport tyres provide excellent traction, stability, and cushioning, which creates a safer, more reliable, and more comfortable ride on either paved or dirt roads.
  • Equipped with our Body Geometry "The Cup" saddle, you can expect a supreme level of comfort anywhere you take the Roll. It delivers on these expectations by "cupping" your sit bones, which reduces pressure without feeling obtrusive or constraining.
  • A spring suspension seatpost takes the sting out of rough terrain, giving you an extra bit of "cushion" that'll have you riding longer and more comfortably.

Best cruiser for the money. Period!

Purchased as a birthday gift to myself in summer 2019. Upgraded the handlebars to make them as awesomely comfortable as the seat is. The Roll Sport is incredibly easy to ride. The upright position is geometrically perfect, and really adds to enjoying the ride. It looks like a heavy bike, but it's reasonably lightweight and surprisingly nimble, making it extremely easy to navigate. Excellent overall value and there's not much competition at this price.

Surprising Performer Especially for the Money

Brought this for my wife that hasn't ridden in 20 Years. We are based in New Zealand and have both trails and a lot of hills. Firstly couldn't get over how easy it is to ride, its reasonably light weight too, very impressive The small frame is not a whole lot heavier than my carbon Full suspension XC bike TBA! So makes it easier to pedal, also has a nice riding position , actually for cruising around its great as your not sitting forward in race mode like some bikes that I'm used too. Only small negative would be that its a little slow through the gears and a little harder to push the selectors than some of the more expensive bikes with better groupsets, but of course that's a price thing and its more than acceptable for the kind of rider that will own this bike. 10/10 for this one Go get one and start Rolling!

For people who want an amazing cruiser bike

My wife and I bought his/her Roll Sports in 2018, and we absolutely love our bikes. We use them for riding on suburban streets and trails, and paved greenbelt bike paths. I've also been towing a Wehoo kid's trailer, and the quality components and lightweight of the XL roll sport makes this way less onerous. This is not a speedy roadbike, and I wouldn't ride it on anything rougher than hardpack bike paths. It's a cruiser bike for cruiser use cases. And it's amazing. Most cruisers are typically very heavy, with clunky shifting and a poor riding experience on anything but perfectly flat paved terrain. The Roll Sport is way more capable of making a casual ride an enjoyable experience.

My new favorite Rec. Bike

I have a 20lb 1x10 29er hardtail and a great road bike, both are excellent for what they do. I picked this up to be my bar hopper / slow ride with the Family bike and it does both flawlessly. The wide heavy tires ""Roll"" forever and are extremely stable at low speeds or when you're just under the legal limit or following a 4 yr old on their bike. It feels like a giant BMX bike, the only thing I wished was different is that it had a cassette instead of a freewheel and that it was a 1x10/11/12. For the price it's an excellent value and honestly there's not much competition in this niche market.

I love this bike it a beast of a bike I call it a bike for a person like me it's big and perfect this bike is my car I don't drive I do everything by bike from going to work getting food and just getting around this is a good bike

Specialized Roll Sport

I consider myself to be a ""Roadie"", but I also like to do casual rides around town with my wife. This is my second Specialized bicycle. My first was/is a Specialized Crosstrail with mechanical disc brakes (use as a fitness/commuter bicycle). The Roll Sport, is lighter, more relaxed geometry and a blast to ride. The 650bx2.3"" tires look great and absorb most of the jolts from the road. The most surprising thing to me is the weight. It looks like a heavy bike, but it is lighter than my Crosstrail and moves at a decent clip. My last outing, I averaged a shade under 15mph for 17.5 miles. One of my favorite features are the handlebars. So cool! Reminds me of my BMX days. I've had the Roll Sport for about a month and only have one negative thing to say - the integrity of the paint is subpar. After my very first ride, I noticed where the cables (not sure if the cables are for the brakes or the shifters) lay up against the head tube (front of the bike where the fork and handlebars join), the cables had already worn off some of the paint. So, to protect the paint, I put a couple of pieces of black electrical tape on that area to protect the paint from further damage. I know manufacturers are under scrutiny to use environmentally friendly paints, but the paint should not show wear after one ride...
