Skozi dirkalne simulacije z uporabo podatkov iz resničnega sveta naša ekipa Ride Science ve, da je Tarmac SL8 najhitrejše dirkalno kolo, ki je bilo kdaj narejeno na pomembnih cestah – 16,6 sekund hitreje na 40 km, 128 sekund hitreje na Milano – San Remo, 20 sekund hitreje na legendarnem vzponu Tourmalet.

    • AERO JE VSE: Aero postavljamo tja, kjer je pomembno – na sprednji del – ne le tam, kjer je videti dobro. Pri tem smo ustvarili naše najbolj aerodinamično cestno kolo doslej. Da, bolj aero je kot Venge. Čist tok zraka je optimiziran za največjo prednost z novim prednjim stožcem kolesa Tarmac – Speed Sniffer. Če krmilno cev premaknete nazaj – cev, ki določa širino glave okvirja – je lahko vodilni rob veliko ostrejši, kar zagotavlja nižjo stopnjo upora. Ekipa je predstavila osupljiv in navdušujoč 685-gramski okvir – 15 % lažji od okvirja Tarmac SL7 in lažji od vseh ostalih na World tour dirkah*. Z možnostjo, da postane lahkost glavna prednostna naloga glavne cevi, cevi sedeža in zadnjega dela kolesa, so bile uporabljene lekcije iz Aethosa. Oblika okvirja prenaša obremenitve tako učinkovito, da postanejo dodatni ogljikovi sloji odveč.
    • GRE KOT HUDIČ, VOŽI SE NEBEŠKO: Z ogromnim povečanjem razmerja med togostjo in težo – izboljšanje za 33 % v primerjavi s SL7 – Tarmac SL8 dviguje legendarno vodljivost, agresivno odzivnost in geometrijo, dokazano na svetovnih prvenstvih, na naslednjo raven. Kolo je togo pri pogonu, natančnejše na krmilu in to združuje s skladno vožnjo v sedežu, kar postavlja nova merila za udobje dirkalnih koles. Zahvaljujoč našemu Rider-First Engineering, vsak kolesar, ne glede na velikost, dobi enako kakovost vožnje in vodljivost brez primere. Na sedežu Tarmac SL8 zagotavlja 6 % večjo skladnost, lebdi po grobih cestah z mehkim občutkom, ki je edinstven v visoko napetem svetu dirkalnih koles. Tarmacova preizkušena geometrija in 32 mm razdalja med plašči sta enaka kot pri SL7, kar zagotavlja enostavno prilagajanje in vsestranskost za uporabo plaščev z večjo prostornino, kadar je to potrebno.
    • ONKRAJ SPOLA: Med dvema kolesarjema je lahko večja razlika kot med moškim in žensko. Sam spol ne zagotavlja niti približno dovolj podatkov za specializacijo, kar pomeni, da je ustvarjanje moških ali ženskih koles samovoljno in zastarelo. Vsak kolesar lahko uporablja prednosti najvišje stopnje kolesa Tarmac SL8. Čas je, da presežemo spol.
