I have been racing xc for a while on this bike and only had a few issues that could have been avoided if I did something about it but overall it is great and I have been able to ride jump lines to! Best bike!

That's all. Not much else to say. It's a far cry from what I remember entry-level bikes being like. Can't wait to put a couple upgrades on.

Rockhopper is a fantastic bike for the price. Had the 1990s version, the 2010 version and now the 2023 version. Gets better every single time I buy one. 10/10 bike for the money.

Great bike, customer service was fantastic! I would definitely recommend this bike to anyone looking to get into mtb riding! Very customizable and well made.

Went for the Expert. Great drivetrain for uphill climbs, decent brakes for downhill sprints. 300lbs rider so I experienced a bit of brake fade at 3 mile mark down a fire road. Great fork floats down trails but lockout still gives about 1/3 travel. All in all for $1k big smiles!

Purchased a L frame last year when the price was $150 more than the 2023 price. Worked smoothly initially on mountain trails and gravel. But all of a sudden the front shifter stopped working as the gear would get jammed unexpectedly. Upon changing the shifter from microshift to another brand, this led to more complications such as the chain constantly getting sucked into the front derailleur despite not shifting under load and taking basic precautions. Overall, the build is decent, but definitely not worth the current or previous price. It has mechanical disc brakes as opposed to hydraulic brakes that some Trek bikes in the same range have. I want to genuinely believe this is a good bike, but this summer will decide how it goes -- hopefully more time on the trails in mud and sun, then in a shop. Have wasted a lot of time and efforts in repairs lately.

Love the bike ! Light weight and looks even nicer in person . Took me about 30 minute to assemble . Just took a month forr the delivery but was worth the wait

Really great bike, light and responsive

After than a month riding this bike, last Sunday, when I got home the crankset was defective, I took it to a bike shop and they said I have to change the whole crankset, I don't recommend it.
