    • 100 mm Federweg, 44 mm Vorbiegung, 110 mm x 15 mm Achsstandard.

Great forks, perfect for my Chisel frameset build

I purchased these forks for my Chisel frameset build and have been VERY happy with them. They feel responsive and stiff for my local XC style single track trails. I love how I don't have to worry about anything like engaging the lockout--they just work.

Best forks available (In my experience)

I love the Specialized brain on these Rock Shox forks because I routinely forget to engage the lockout on other works so I'm either bobbing up a hill or clanking down a hill. With the Specialized Brain, it auto-locks out based upon if the impact comes from the trail or if the rider is just cranking. Really great product but my 2019 Rock Shox with a brain kicked the bucket so I was again, bobbing up hills or clanking down hills. Hope this 2 year warranty with the possibility service afterwards keeps me happy for years. Greg Augusta

    Awesome , awesome fork !

Got this bad boy put on my 2020 EPIC Comp back in Dec 2021. Ever since then, I have a lot of mountain bikers complementing on it. My main focus was to reduce weight. After a few rides out on the trail, I can’t ask for a better fork. The ability to climb hills, mountain and go over rocks/bumps on the trail is just amazing what this fork can do. I used 12-gear a lot, but after this was put on my EPIC Comp I was on my 11-gear the whole time and hardly used my 12-gear unless the grade gets steeper. Now with this fork being on I protect my bike more so than my own 2 kids :-) (Joking!). Overall, amazing stuff guys!

    Amazing fork!

I've owned and raced on many top end forks including all previous SID and Fox models. This one is the best to date, no need to think about locking out, you can focus on the trail, your effort and your nutrition. If you want the best 100mm travel fork this is the one. I'm about to buy a second one!

Best 100mm cross country performance fork money can buy

Have ridden the Specialized Brain suspension for 14 years dating back to the Fox Terralogic in '03/'04 I crossed over to RS Sid Brain in 2012. The 2011-2018 forks were great. In 2019 the fork's small bump sensitivity changed (IMO for the worst). I owned a 2019 Sid brain which came standard on my S Epic which was TERRIBLE and a big deterioration from the earlier forks, really ruined my bike's handling; much noisier, lack of lock out and in general a big disappointment. I was in the checkout page for buying a competitor's 32mm fork when I found Pan aftermarket offering of the 2021 Sid SL Ult Brain and decided to give the shop a try. Living in the UK I was unable to source the new 2021 RS SID Brain SL after market so I purchased from an independent retailer in the US. What a pleasure, the purchase was seamless efficient and shipped quickly. Even after having to pay 20% import duty the total cost of the fork was less than most competitor forks sourced locally. Having ridden the new fork for 4 months now, I can honestly say it is the best suspension fork (cross country/ marathon race specific) I have ever ridden. The inertia-valve lock out is PERFECT, smooth transition to firming up, small bump sensitivity is spot on and just enough whilst the plushness of the fork is second to none. I think a lot of this has to do with the new Maxima oil the for is built with. It is superb.

Building a 2020 HT to match my 2020 FS S-Works Epic... that fork kills it... the HT will be no different. I've been on Brains, only, for over a decade... the only way to go.
