Fantastic bike

I would give this 5 stars but the Sram Eagle SX components let it down too much. After a ride or two, you end up fiddling with the shifting. I love the bike and the frame is worthy of upgrades. Upgrades so far: Hunt Trail Wide Wheelset SX Dub Crank GX Eagle cassette, chain and derailleur GX Grip Shift PNW Range bar X-Fusion Slide 34 Boost 140 mm fork

Great bike, SX should not exist

When I purchased the stump-jumper I determined that one step up in components (comp) may not suffice, so I decided to buy the base version and upgrade components as they sploded. I can say it's a great bike, but I don't think bike shop manufacturers should sell bicycles with SX group-sets. It's like it has to be just perfectly adjusted to shift right. Eventually I will upgrade the wheels, group-set, and rear shock. At that point, I think it will be quite the stump-jumper, because I like everything else about the bike.

Great Bike couple issues

Ive had my bike for 1 year now and the entry level parts are not great ive had issues with my front break where it moves into the bar and ive taken it to the shop and the leaver bushings are worn out and connot be replaced. And the sram sx eagle deraileur is great after a service but the clutch looses tightness and the bolt strips easily. But its a great bike other the issues of it, the forks and shock has held up of lots of use and i recommend a rebulid every year when needed, Other than that great starter dual sus bike

Good bike, but bad gears

I've had my bike for a year now and I think that the specs regarding the entry-level is way to bad. I have had major trouble with the back breaks and needing to bleed them on a regular basis. Not happy at all! Regarding the gears, I feel that I had alot less trouble with the bikes that have a Shimano system. So lately the bike has been more in the garage than on the trails. I guess it is learning money, but really takes the edge of riding the bike.

Great value but chunky

I've had my stumpy alloy for a month and have had the bike out 10 days. Pros: solid components for the price. Really comfortable on down hill and rolling single track. It's handsome, it's has a dropper post (this is not that common for price point) easy to lock out both front and rear suspension. Travel on both shocks is pretty goldilocks for an average rider Con: the bike is a bit overweight. mine weighs in between 34 and 35 lbs. This is fairly noticeable on long climbs. I'm coming over from a really light hardtail so hoping I get used to it. Conclusion: it's one of the best values in this price range. I picked mine up for 2100 on sale

I love this bike and it is my favourite bike put of all the bikes i have had. The only problem I have had with it is the Sram SX groupset because it is not accurate. But overall I love this bike! Would recommend!
