Tim Merlier is a two-wheeled sprinting powerhouse, a master at threading the needle when it comes to chaotic bunch finishes.

Navigating through the pack at 70 kph to raise his arms in victory has become second nature. His razor-sharp bike handling—honed through years of cyclo-cross racing—gives him the edge when precision matters most.

Proudly Belgian—and unmistakably Flandrian—Tim takes immense pride in having claimed the Belgian National Championship title twice, and he now races in the European Champion’s white jersey.

Tim joined Soudal–Quick-Step in 2023, clocking up 14 wins during his first year with the team. His ability to deliver phenomenal speed through his pedals has helped us refine and develop the new Roval Rapide CLX Sprint.
