Our Stumpjumper ST models are snappy and nimble, yet Incredibly versatile—the perfect rigs for riders seeking both efficiency and capability. The Stumpjumper ST Alloy 27.5 makes that winning combo affordable, with components that are big on performance and small on dollar signs.

THE ULTIMATE TRAIL BIKE

The innovative sidearm frame design makes a lighter, better-handling bike. By directly connecting all three mounting points of the rear-end and shock to the frame, we've increased both stiffness and performance over bumps. End result? Total control.

PERFECTLY-BALANCED SUSPENSION

Our in-house suspension-tuning team develops custom shock tunes, perfectly paired to each bike's kinematics. We call this Rx Tune and while it's not the easy way to build a suspension bike, it's worth it. You feel Rx Tune as perfectly-balanced suspension.

SMART PARTS PICK

• 27.5 wheels accentuate the Stumpjumper ST's playful on-trail feel.

• 130-millimeters of suspension courtesy of a RockShox Recon RL fork.

• SX Eagle 12-speed drivetrain gives you single-ring simplicity and gearing to spare.

Great bang for the buck$$$$

Mostly trail riding in central/western Virginia. It's a solid, great handling bike in stock form, and, yes, it's a bit heavy in stock form (33 lbs medium). Mine is just a shade over 28lbs. With some component changes. Current setup: Raceface Turbine crank, Renthal carbon bar, Mercury wheelset(1870 gms.). Marzocchi Z2 140mm fork, WTB Pro saddle with Ti rails. Maxxis Rekon tires 2.4 120 TPI, XTR Trail pedals. I had everything to upgrade on hand except the fork which I found new for $425. The bike does everything well! It's a better bike than I am a rider. Look at the crank first. The stock crank is solid - but it's a real boat anchor!

Incredible bike but one issue

I've had this bike coming up on 2 years. It's my first real mountain bike and has been great and handles everything from street riding, to all the local trails, and jump parks. The only issue is the rear shock, which as other reviews have stated, doesn't hold air properly. The x-fusion 02 pro rl is a great shock and all but I've already had to send it in for a rebuild due to it completely losing air sitting still overnight and that's a problem because new shocks are so expensive. The shock still loses anywhere from 4-12 psi every time I ride and is the largest issue. Overall the bike is still fantastic and great for anybody trying to get into the sport.

This bike is a beast

Look. This bike has been amazing. It's perfect as your first real bike. I've ridden this on the biggest single trails in Michigan. Check out South trails in Marquette. I rode every trail there and my bike was never a problem. I'm talking really chunky rocks, huge drops, major downhills, and big climbs. I've wrecked on this bike more than 10 times without problems. I've ridden this bike as hard as it can be pushed for 1000+ miles and it's still a beast with original parts. It takes some time figuring out the perfect suspension for your area so give it a moment to get your bike feeling how you need it to. The only downfall, the bike is heavy. Still for the cost, you're not beating this bike.

Great all around bike for the price

This is the only bike I own, and it's done everything from a century on the road to big 15ft drops at the bike park. It handles everything and is a great place to start when looking for a budget full suspension bike.

Sick bike, handles everything

Had a 2017 Stumpjumper and upgraded to the 2020. This bike is a tank. Handles everything. Trails, Hills, downhills.

Super Trail Bike!!

This is my first full suspension bike. I cant believe I ever rode a hard tail! I have rode this back on some super tech trails around Austin TX. and the Stumpjumper is only limited to what I can do! It is Awesome!

Would buy again

I use this product on moderate trails and some bike park and it has help up to it all. the one problem is the rear shock does not hold air like its supposed to do and it has been like that since purchase.

I would buy this bike again, though I have one issue

I live in NH and ride mostly moderate trails, occasionally some bike parks. I have one single issue though, my bikes rear shock does not hold air properly and it's been like that since my purchase, very disappointing since everything else on the bike is amazing.

Amazing bike

This bike has handled everything I've thrown at it and I ride it very hard with no issues! It also looks amazing and stands out at my local trail system.

Best Trail bike I have ever ridden!!

This bike out of the bike is a trail beast. Local trails here in MD are very rocky and rooty and this bike doesn't seem fazed by it. It climbs like nobody's business. I ride with guys that have $5500 bikes and up and it keeps up with all of them. the 12 speed really comes in clutch.
