Geerike Schreurs

Netherlands / SD Worx - Protime

From the road to the rough stuff, Dutch powerhouse Geerike Schreurs - or just Gee - is charting her own course, one gravel race at a time.

Hailing from the Netherlands, Geerike left volleyball at 19 to build a career in the fast-paced world of road cycling. Despite immense talent, the environment in the women’s peloton at the time did not offer the support her ability deserved. Instead, she transitioned to a ten year career as a soigneur.

But Geerike’s story didn’t stop at the massage table. A decade later, drawn to the rawness and unpredictability of gravel and inspired by her good friend and multi-time World Champion, Anna Van Der Breggen, Gee embraced a new racing frontier with Specialized—one where solo strength, tactical grit, and mechanical savvy all collide.

As the sole gravel rider on the SD Worx - Protime team, Geerike now brings her power and precision to the toughest gravel events on the calendar. Whether she’s battling for the win at Traka or tearing through technical terrain at Unbound, Gee rides with signature Dutch determination—and a growing résumé of top gravel results to match. Off the bike, she’s a fierce advocate for parity in women’s cycling and a vital part of gravel’s next generation of elite riders.

Gee, on her favorite Specialized product

“It’s two - my Crux and my Evade. When I put my Evade and hop on my Crux, I just feel so fast and I know it’s time to race. “
