The all-new Levo delivers the unbelievable power to ride more trails through an unequaled combination of ride quality, usable power, and ride anywhere range. It’s the distillation, application, and amplification of a 40-year obsession with creating the world’s best riding mountain bikes. Since its introduction, Levo has set the bar every other e-MTB aims for, and the new Levo raises that bar again.

It starts with our Turbo Full Power 2.2 motor and Turbo Connect Unit (TCU), which provide Levo with a smooth and seamless amplification of your efforts—4x you power that lets you choose where to ride, and when you want to do it. Levo also shatters limitations when it comes to range, amplifying your effort for up to five hours of trail time. Now you can ride farther, and explore more, than ever before. And the optimized chassis boasts 150mm of custom-tuned rear suspension and adjustable geometry that delivers a stable and natural ride like no other. Because at the end of the day, it’s the ride that matters. Believe it.

More climbing, more descending, more miles, more fun. Spec’d with a no-fuss SRAM GX/NX drivetrain, trail-taming Fox suspension, and a lightweight, durable alloy wheelset, the all-new Turbo Levo delivers more of everything that you love about trail riding.

  • Levo’s fully integrated Turbo Full Power 2.2 motor, 700Wh battery, and advanced MasterMind Turbo Control Unit deliver category-leading 90 Nm of torque and 565 watts of power for up to five hours of ride time, empowering you to ride farther and faster than ever before.
  • The MasterMind Turbo Control Unit is your information hub with customizable display fields, including the exact percentage of battery level, and it features our all-new MicroTune function to adjust power delivery in 10% increments, so you get exactly the support you need to experience precisely the ride you want.
  • A dedicated mixed-wheel size design with a 27.5” wheel in the back and 29” up front delivers a nimble ride that carves circles around other full-power e-MTBs. A generous cockpit centers you on the bike, optimizing traction and corner control. The low bottom bracket, slack headtube angle and reduced fork offset keep things stable in the rough.
  • Levo offers six distinct geometry settings, allowing you to easily dial-in its performance for any riding style andany terrain. Head tube angle can be adjusted between 63- and 65.5-degrees. Bottom bracket height can be fine-tuned up or down by 7mm.
  • Levo’s 150mm of rear travel is supple on small bumps, devours square-edged hits without a twitch, eats massive G-outs for breakfast, yet still offers amazing pedal response and delivers your power to the ground with total efficiency.
  • The Levo’s S-Sizing is based on what matters—rider size and style, not inseam. Six sizes, all with similar headtube lengths and standover, allow you to choose the size that best suits your individual style. Smaller S-Size numbers are going to be nimble and more flickable, while bigger S-Sizes deliver more stability and a roomier ride.

Best E-MB ever!

I've been riding MBs since 1984 - originally a Stumpjumper followed by several custom built Kleins. I can't say enough postive about my 2023 Levo Comp Carbon! I went to InCycle intending to purchase an Stumpjumper EVO but the salesman - a pro rider BTW - talked me into trying the Levo. Electric bike?! Total heresy was my initial reaction, but then I rode it! Suffice it to say that my satisfaction level is off the charts. I've found the three F's - Faster, Farther and more Fun! Literally several times a week on serious trails without killing myself. FYI, I did try many other e-bikes (all major brands) but honestly my Levo Comp Carbon is head and shoulders above any of the other bikes I tried. In a few months, I've put 1500 miles on the odometer! Also I notice that a couple reviews knock the brakes, but that's not my experience at all - the brakes on my Levo are terrific. Perhaps set up of the brakes is the issue.

Zero regrets

I bought around Black Friday 2022 and this was the best MTB purchase I’ve ever made. I have progressed like crazy being able to get two laps done in the time of one acoustic MTB ride. The Comp Carbon spec is perfect for an enthusiast/weekend warrior who is determined to improve their skills. The value is ok at BF discount prices; full price is tough to swallow and good luck convincing your friends to drop the same cash on a bike unless they already eMTB. I’m 6’ and 185lbs, S4 has been a dream. No complaints about the Fox suspension specs and out of the box felt near perfect, compared to the Factory suspension on my Mega, which took me months to get dialed and just try to nail the confidence of my Levo. For the SRAM brake complainers, I’ve found over filling by 2-3ml at the caliper before closing has stiffened up the brake feel and these RS levers now feel like my sorted RSCs on my Megatower. Experienced mechanics only and at your own risk! I love love love this bike.

Hold on

Bought the bike a week ago. Have ridden 60 miles on it. Absolutely love the bike. Having said that. I’m 64 only weigh 150 lbs. I know the bicycle is heavy. I’m not 13K for a bike without brakes is a little excessive!!! Seriously The brakes are a joke

Game Changer

Have a full carbon non-ebike stump jumper that I love, but now 69 years old and realize I can't do what I used to do. I love the Levo because I camp at different mountain biking locations throughout the US and will ride the Levo first to try out new trails and the difficulty. If I think I can handle it, the next day I'll take out the Stumpjumper. You get a good workout on the Levo because you can make it as hard or easy as you want. I also can go further and climb what I can't on my Stumpjumper. Love them both.

Suspension tips

Incredible bike, but wouldn’t mind the suspension from the Expert build. At factory settings I was bottoming out both front and rear with a riding weight of 165lb. Ended up with +20psi rear and +10 front with the dial exactly halfway between soft and firm. Also, do yourself a favor and get a tailored Ridewrap and install it before your first ride. Installation really isn’t so bad and the finish on this bike scratches if you look at it wrong!!

If 2 laps is good, 4 laps is better!

(2) Year - Long Term Review for a 6'4" aging EX DH Racer From Ride Don't Slide and all the out of park fun at Whistler, Squamish Slabs & Tech to Moab's Ahab, Gold Bar and Portal - this bike handles all the wild trails I wasn't sure a full power Ebike would love. Add to this the ability to double the number of runs in a 2.5hr ride at the local trails and what are you waiting for? I'd be lying if I said the Levo was the first bike I grab to ride each day, but compared to a 170/170 analog enduro bike that's my daily driver - I've never felt the Levo hold me back on difficult DH trails and when the occasion calls, its good in the air too.

Exploration Vehicle - One of the Greatest Bikes Ever Ridden

The Specialized Turbo Levo e-bikes should be counted among the best bicycles ever created. They go beyond ordinary cycling. They are, rather, exploration vehicles. These bikes allow riders to explore new parts of their world. Where hikers would rarely venture due to distance, where motorbikes are prohibited, those piloting Specialized Turbo Levo e-bikes are free to explore and be pioneers of places previously undiscovered. Regardless of one's age, Specialized Turbo Levo mountain e-bikes bring back the sheer joy of venturing into the woods, mountains, or high desert for the very first time.

First e-bike, first bike with suspension!

My first mountain bike was purchased in 1985, an iconic Diamondback Arrival. Great bike, but that was pre-suspension, which limited the terrain the bike could comfortably tackle. Thirty-seven years later, in the fall of 2022, saw that Specialized was having a sale on bikes. Had been interested in a Turbo Levo Comp Alloy, but e-bikes were sold out at all the regional bike shops. Having never seen one, much less ride an electric mountain bike, it was a difficult decision to spend about 6 times what the Arrival (at the time a high end bike) had cost. Made the leap. Today rode the bike into the Clear Fork River Gorge below my home. Last section a very steep drop to the river. To my astonishment, I rode my Turbo Levo up that steep climb on the bike, not pushing it up. These bikes are game-changers, especially when one is getting up there in age. They are very heavy, very expensive, and wonderful. Love this bike! My wife is now shopping for hers. Great job, Specialized!

Over the Top

I just bought my Turbo Levo Comp. Admittedly I've been a skeptic of ebikes. But, since riding this, I'm a believer. The bike rides as good if not better than my Stump Jumper SL comp. The extra weight actually makes it more stable in the turns. It takes off and lands really well. It's super agile and responsive. There was no trade off of performance whatsoever. The Mission control app is super intuitive and allows me to make adjustments to my output on any of the power settings while on the trail. I can work as hard as I want (or not) on the uphill or x-country trail climbs without feeling like I sold out. And at mountain trail complexes that require big climbs, this bike is like having a fast pass at the amusement park. What used to be a 45 minute one-and-done ride up is now more times up and down more often in a session. Win! I'm telling all my mtb friends that this is the one to get. Way to go, Specialized. This is the grandest and newest addition to my bike barn.

Smooth as Butta

I am a 62-year-old avid mountain biker former racer etc. I have five mtn bikes in my quiver. I still love my FS trek top fuel and recently got a pivot 429 last summer. I’m not new to E bikes having dabbled so I could ride with a friend but it was a low end mountain bike with Shimano steps motor, which I never had any problems with and worked flawlessly. This thing blows it away, it is unbelievably smooth, I upgraded to GX electronic shifting and put a carbon ENVE handlebar on for damping. The specialized motor is much smoother than Shimano. This thing down hills like my other bikes not like a 48 pound klunker, it is unbelievably smooth and tracks true through the corners. This turns any ride into an epic, and I believe it has a place in your lineup. If you want to work hard you still can you can just go farther and ride more terrain. Get one!

Incredible Bike

This bike is absolutely incredible. I've tried the alloy and carbon fiber versions of this bike and I will definitely say that the carbon version is worth the premium. The alloy version is still excellent, but the carbon version is noticeably lighter, which translates to a more lively ride on the trails. Mission Control and 90Nm of torque make for a highly customizable experience. You can essentially tune your bike to whatever demands the trail requires. Normally I ride in trail mode with a customized profile bumping up the base assistance from 35% to 50% as the trails in my local area can be very steep and rocky. Turbo mode is a unique experience, however. It is almost too powerful for most single-track trails but is excellent when you need to blast down a fire road or get back to the truck before the sun sets.

My first e mtb. I’m

My first e mtb. I’m 67yo and have been an mtb rider for many years. Sadly with injury and age the legs weren’t letting me enjoy riding. The Specialized Turbo Levo has changed all that. I’m hitting the trails multiple times per week, riding much, much further and have got the fun factor back big time. The bike is totally dialled into hardcore mtb riding, rides like it’s on rails and is super balanced so I can focus on the trail as the bike does the rest. I ride my local black trails with the ease I used to on my analogue enduro bike, the Levo eats them up. It has taken only a few rides to make the transition to the e mtb. The biggest is getting used to the additional speed both up and down, so quick it’s easy to overcook it. It really focuses on the need to use good bike skills and you’ll be rewarded with a really exciting ride. The Turbo mode is ridiculously powerful, more for flying than riding, Bike setup and mastering the technology is easy with the app, even for a dinosaur like me. I bought this bike based on the exceptionally good reviews it has been receiving. I am even more impressed than the reviews given. A top bike to ride, made even better as an e bike.

Turbo Levo Shreds Keystone Black Trails!

Spent 5 weeks in CO riding amazing trails all over (Phil’s World, 401, Tenderfoot Mtn, and Keystone, Turkey Springs) but what impresses me most was how this 160/150mm setup handled Keystone DH trails! Instead of dropping $69 per day for ski-lift pass, I rode up Jack Straw road (paved dirt access) that takes you up to the top or midway up Keystone and you can bomb DH at any point. The mullet setup and 2.6 tires really keeps the bike incredibly stable while rolling thru rock gardens. They call it Key”STONE” for a reason! I rode black diamonds (Paid in Full, Money, Cowboy Up etc) and didn’t feel need to adjust the slack angle cup option. I HIGHLY recommend this bike for all types of riding and well worth the $$. You will end selling your analog Enduro like I did :)
