We have a long history of developing the world's highest performing road bikes. Tarmac, Venge, Roubaix, Allez, Diverge—each one dominates their respective category, featuring the best technologies in the industry. And while that's a tough palmarès to follow, the Turbo Creo SL redefines e-road bike performance. It's lightweight, smooth, capable, and lively—all with the power to flatten mountains, laugh at headwinds, and go farther than you ever thought possible. It's you, only faster.

The Turbo Creo SL Expert features out Fact 11r carbon chassis. Yes, that's the same one on the S-Works model, and you'll also get the new Future Shock 2.0. For the spec, we included a 1x SRAM Rival eTap AXS build and an 11-44t cassette to take on shifting and braking duties, while Roval C 38 Disc carbon wheels get wrapped in 28mm Turbo Pro tires to keep you rolling worry-free and super fast. And filling out the build are our Future Stem Pro, alloy Expert Hover bars, and our fan-favorite Body Geometry Power Expert saddle.

  • The Creo SL is the lightest e-bike in its class—literally kilograms lighter than the competition. Not only does the lightweight and stiff FACT 11r carbon frame inspire dancing on the pedals and diving into corners, but it also reduces overall system weight and increases the range.
  • The lightweight SL 1.1 motor doubles your effort with as much as 240 watts of silent and powerful assistance to amplify your ride. The motor’s responsive torque curve delivers power perfectly in-tune with your normal riding cadence and leaves no resistance when riding unassisted.
  • Battery anxiety? Not on the Creo SL. With up to 80 miles of range from the internal battery, the Creo SL eats up big miles and long days. Our optional range extender provides up to 40 additional miles of mountain-flattening power.
  • By connecting with our Specialized app, you're able to tune the SL 1.1 motor to your riding style, record rides, and monitor the battery. The app can handle battery management automatically too, ensuring the battery will last as long as you need it to. The motor even has a built-in power meter that transmits to any ANT+ head unit.
  • With the Future Shock 2.0, you'll feel a reduction in fatigue and an increase in speed, no matter the terrain. The 2.0 iteration gives you more control via a knob atop the stem. This knob adjusts compression from fully-open to stiff, while hydraulically-damped internals control rebound. The new Smooth Boot, top cap, and Future Stem also enhance the aesthetic, so you get a clean transition from head tube to stem.
  • We’ve learned there can be more difference between two male cyclists than between a male and a female cyclist. Gender alone doesn’t provide enough data to specialize. It means that separating bikes as male or female is arbitrary and outdated. With this in mind, we've developed a geometry that's best-fit for all riders—one that's comfortable, snappy, and handles like a dream.

Creo Sl review

This is a great bike. I have had it for about 7 weeks. My other bikes havent been ridden since i got it. Instead of struggling i am enjoying riding again as it was 10 years ago. (and the 25 years before that) The range is great. On Eco mode I can get 200km and on Sport about 100km ridden conservatively. Because i now ride more my fitness has improved. I put a rear rack on and went touring for 4 days with 2 panniers. This was where the power was great on the steep hills as you can just add a little power if needed. (but i was still only in sport mode on a 13% climb) I thought the 46 tooth front ring would be limiting but as there is a 10 on the back it isnt. I can still be pedaling at 60kph. The transition from power on to cutting out at 45kph is very smooth. The spacing between the gears are also excellent and in group rides i have no trouble maintaining cadence. The q factor is slightly wider and took a bit to get used to but changing to minimum axle length Keywin pedals helped.

Creo SL Expert. A Great Bike

I’ve ridden my Creo for two seasons now. It is simply terrific. I ride well over half the time without assist and it rides just like a non electric bike. The ride is smooth and comfortable; the handling is great. Then there is the power for the steep climbs and hard sections. With the power on the only thing you notice is your speed is faster. It’s that natural. Being in my 70s and having cycled for decades I see this bike extending my cycling days for many more years. By controlling the amount of assist I can still get a very good workout. The only thing that could be improved is to get rid of the motor noise. Make no mistake it’s there and it’s real. Otherwise an absolutely perfect bike.

Awesome Bike!

Just purchased this bike and it is everything everyone has been saying! Light weight and easy to lift into the back of my car! Great ride without the peddle assist, turns corners with ease, easy shifting, the shocks make it a comfortable ride and the peddle assist is a game changer going up steep hills! Love Love!

Shifter Battery

I have owned this bike for over a year and it has preformed well. Two months ago I got on it to ride and the DI2 shifter battery was dead. It had been charged the night before and showed a full charge. I charged it again and the battery was dead again. The mechanics at the shop where I bought it replaced the battery, charged it, and it was dead within 18 hours. Specialized was consulted via email as no one was available to speak to the mechanic. They referred the problem to Shimano. Shimano recommended checking all the components including the derailleur and each individual cable to find what is draining the battery. So far nothing wrong or defective has been found. The bike has been in the shop for two weeks. I would like to ride the bike again at some point. I am very disappointed with Specialized not taking a more proactive approach to resolve this issue.

Go try one today! Plenty of power, ignore the 35nm

I hired a Creo SL Expert for the weekend and Wow! Insane bike, no creaking, great handling, solid bike. I have two other ebikes, an 85nm Giant and a 65nm Focus and this beats both of them hands down. Ignore the spec sheet, go try one, I kid you not, awesome bike and excellent battery life. I commute 50km a day, 700m climb, gets me to work and back no worries.

Great bike, even with the power turned off.

I’m truly enjoying this bike. It’s the answer to the age old "N + 1" conundrum. With this bike you’ll no longer need the "N" because they’re going to be unridden and dusty in your garage. You’ll just be riding this "1". What wind? What hills? What fun!

Great Bike - Good design choices for serious cyclists.

A lot of e-bikes out there. This one in particular does not deviate from the experience of riding a non-electric bike. For me that was extremely important. This bike puts out assist up to 28 MPH. I don't know about you but at 20MPH chasing guys down that is right about where I need help. So those bikes were not going to cut it for me. A couple of other bikes that do 28 are just ugly and scream e-bike. So the Turbo Como SL is really all there is for me. On a steep climb (10% or so) it feels the same as a regular bike if you dial in about 30%, add more and its cake. Specialized says 80 mile range. I think that works if you do some pedaling of your own. I am super happy with this bike. I think the design is a perfect compromise for serious cyclists who need a bit of extra juice out there without taking away the road bike experience, The handling and cornering are superb as well, feels just like a super solid road bike that can handle some bumps as well.

13,000klms later

I have the 2021 Carbon Gravel Mk 1 version and it still is the most amazing bike I have ever ridden. Couple of niggles, mainly the chain jumping off the crank on the inside. This has been solved by adding the 2022 bracket chain stay. However it would have been nice if I had been contacted by Specialized and offered this cheap but effective upgrade, rather than accidently see it on a bike in the shop, and have to ask 'what is that?'. Also tends to eat chains a bit. But I have forgiven all of that, as the overall result is a very useable bike, that can keep up with our local group, though it takes a different riding style I find [74 years old] as I am quicker up the hills, but rest on the way down, while they peddle past at a somewhat furious rate. Running 28mm Specialized tyres, but have ordered the new 33mm Roubaix tyres for more gravel work.. So a huge thumbs up from me for this bike which was the first all enclosed e-bike, that people still don't recognize as an e-bike.

Overall I love the bike. But the online buying experience could be improved.

Cons - I bought the bike online however a “glitch” in their system neglected to collect sales tax for the purchase and so the first purchase had to be voided and I had to order it again. - Specialized QA and assembly also needs improving. The bike arrived without a charger. I checked all the bolts to make sure everything was up to torque spec. Everything was, with the glaring exception of the right crank arm bolt. It was literally only “hand tight”. - The Specialized claim of “silent and powerful assistance…” You and everyone around you will hear it. Particularly at a higher cadence. Pros - Specialized addressed or acknowledged all of my issues and rectified them in a timely manner. People were helpful, sympathetic and knowledgeable. - Fast charging, a very well thought out and smooth peddle assist system, tunable assist levels, and that sweet, smooth “carbon frame ride” which is only improved with the addition of their future shock stem system. All high marks! Buy this bike.

Awesome Bike

The computer on the top tube is straight forward and within each of the 3 power levels, you can pre-set the amount of assist. Works well with the Mission Control App. I set up my Garmin bike computer to interface with the bike so I can see what gear I'm in. I had the external power buttons installed on the outside bottom of my shifters so I can adjust level up or down with the flick of my little finger. As you cycle thru the 3 power levels, you can also turn the assist completely off. This is really great for riding on the flats or downhill. Don't really need any assist then and saves on the battery. For those really steep grades, the Turbo power level makes the climb a whole lot easier. SRAM electronic shifters are terrific and the SRAM ASX app will tell you shifter battery level among many other setting options. An incredibly well thought out integration of all components of the bike. A joy to ride.
