The Renegade 2Bliss Ready tire is suitable for both XC training and racing with its light, grippy, and supple properties. Accordingly, it's perfect for fast accelerations and climbing in hard-pack terrain. It has a fast-rolling tread design with all-new knob blocks, enhancing cornering traction and creating better braking effectiveness. Compared to its S-Works sibling, this 2Bliss Ready version has a tread pattern that's slightly wider and denser in order to better protect the tire against cuts and pinch flats. The Renegade 2Bliss Ready also comes with GRIPTON compound, which greatly increases handling under all trail conditions.

Fast option for dry trails

I had an opportunity to try out the Specialized Renegade tires in the 2.3 size front and rear. Unfortunately, we had greasy trails a majority of the riding season (or at least every time I was able to ride!) I think these tires would be a great choice for dry, hardpack trails. It's not that they didn't do okay when conditions were slimy, but compared to the Fast Traks, I didn't have as much traction/grip as I would've liked. I'm hoping to try a Fast Trak front/Renegade rear setup next year, if conditions are favorable enough. Overall, the ride feel of these tires were good and I didn't have issues with durability on my local trails. They didn't shine as bright as the Fast Traks for me, but they were still a fine tire to roll on.

Superb tire for hardpack

It's only getting because of durability. No grid casing, but a great tire for hardpack and was even considering putting a 2.3 up front on my Chisel. It's just not durable enough for mid west Missouri rocks but surprisingly great grip even on the local rocky trails we have. Faster and lighter than a FT but no grid casing so for me it's a great crit tire or for non technical trail if you want any life out of it.
