Deflect™ UV Engineered Beanie

If you're like us, you have a strong distaste to sweat in your eyes while you're out riding. And to make matters worse, sunblock just adds another ingredient to the recipe for temporary blindness and discomfort. What to do? Grab a Deflect™ UV Engineered Beanie and make stinging eyes a thing of the past.

After all, while we hate to be the bearer of bad news, your hair isn't protecting your head from harmful ultraviolet rays. And if you're attempting to curb the aforementioned by swathing your hair in sunblock like it's the hot new pomade, well, you need more than our help. Instead, our beanie provides a constant source of protection, UV 50+ to be exact, while also keeping the sweat out of your eyes. Even better, the unique NILIT® BREEZE yarns react to your body heat to create a cooling sensation. So, make the smart move and maintain your diligence against the sun with our Deflect™ UV Engineered Beanie.

Still get sweat in eyes

Purchased to prevent UV exposure to the scalp and hoped it would also keep sweat out of my eyes. But the material retains moisture. After riding for a couple hours this beanie is wringing wet and the sweat gets in my eyes anyway.

I love this beanie

I love this. And to note, I have a child's sized head. I saw previous reviews which mentioned how small it was. That was why I went ahead and purchased it. I have long hair that is fine. I typically braid it when riding. It still gets tangled around bits in my helmet and I end up ripping out hair ever time I remove my helmet. I don't appreciate this. I saw this beanie, and while the absorbing sweat is appealing as summer approaches. I primarily bought it to protect my hair from damage from my helmet. It fits perfectly. Is comfortable. Does the job I wanted perfectly. My head circumference is 53 cm.

Very small

I have a 7 3/8 head size which is an extra large helmet size. This would fit a medium size head very good.
